Have you ever asked yourself, "how can I be pleasing to God?" I have, and I discovered that the scriptures have much to say on this.

The scriptures tell us.

Luke 12:31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

When we've set our hearts upon seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness in Christ, "It's the Father's good pleasure to give us the kingdom!"

Here is what Jesus said about this:

Luke 11:10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Luke 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
Luke 11:12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

That is an absolute promise.

Faith in God pleases Him,... without faith it is impossible to please Him.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Jesus said that if we continue in His word we are His disciples indeed and we shall know the truth and the truth shall make us free.

These are promises! God has given us everything we need to press on, to go forward from faith to faith, with new bread each day.

There is so much more in the scriptures about being pleasing to God and what is a pleasure to Him. Shouldn't this be the goal of every believer?

it is the goal of every true believer. there's many such descriptions in torah, in yahweh's word, in yahshua's testimony
of true believers. this is one way in yahshua the bereans tested everything - compare what they see or are told
to see if it is in line with torah, with all of yahweh's word (the bible), or not. all the blessings, the good,
and the curses, the evil, are revealed and should be tested by the true believers, according to yahweh's instructions to all .

Psalms 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Every word of God is true, it's tried and preserved. Everything that God ever spoke is good! We cheat ourselves out of so much when we reject one jot of tittle.

Psalms 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Psalms 12:7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
