I'm a Christian and I fully believe in God,Heaven and Hell, I believe that Jesus is our only savior and that he died on the cross to offer me the gift of Salvation that I need not perish if I believe in him. I often ask forgiveness of my sins, and I try hard to repent of my sins.

But what if i died before having chance to confess and seek forgiveness from sin, for example a sudden car crash e.t.c. ? will I go to Heaven or hell if I died with unconfessed sin?

Your sins have been nailed to the cross and are placed as far as the East is from the West and are remembered no more....eternal security is the reality of the bible and no where does it teach you would wake up in hell if you died suddenly in a car crash with unconfessed sins......make no mistake...there will be some that argue this...they tend to believe in their own righteous deeds and or their religions have taught them something contrary to the truth......

Now...a man that has not trusted into Jesus and been born of the spirit is bumming if they get killed suddenly in a car crash as well as those who have trusted into a gospel of a different kind with no power to save as they died lost!

God looks upon a person's heart and knows if they are repentant or not.. I definitely agree with dcon's answer, for sure.. :)

Heaven. Repentance is not dependent on having eternal salvation. Christ died to pay for the sins of those that God gave to him and none of them will be lost, not even one, John 6:39.

I was in perfect agreement with you until you put that last sentence in. The carnal man, void of the Spirit, in a sudden death would go to hell, but a person who has been born of the Spirit and believes in another interpretation of the gospel instead of the way you interpret it will go to heaven. The gospel does not save anybody eternally. The gospel does tell the born again person how that he was saved eternally.

It's about grace through faith, not about works.

There is only One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism. A person can only gain faith by the hearing the of One Gospel not any other gospel,
and no one can be born again of any spirit but the One Spirit.

Confession is the expression of faith and repentance, not the catalyst for receiving grace.

Well no offence but 4 things...

1. I did state that a man that has not been born again will die and go to hell...
2. Galatians chapter one teaches that some believe a gospel of a different kind which has no power to save...
3. Paul said clearly to the Corinthian church that they had believed the Gospel of their salvation.....
4. The word gospel carries the idea of a correct message....the bible teaches faith into the death, burial and resurrection of JESUS for eternal life........

So...not real sure what your objections are....!

If you have these concerns then something is not right in your heart and I would advise you diligently seek the answer with an honest heart. Be very careful of blindly accepting the counsel of others.

The Bible says this...

Heb 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
Heb 10:21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
Heb 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

The blood of Christ is the means by which we approach God with a true heart seeking a cleansing of our sins. It is the prescribed manner God has given us that we may find reconciliation. The blood does this...

Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Dead works are all deeds done apart from a walk with God. We need to be reconciled with God that we may serve God in an acceptable manner devoid of a guilty conscience. That you have concerns over a guilty conscience is God warning you that something is not right.

Have you truly repented of your rebellion to God and forsaken that rebellion? Has your old man died once and for all? Are you truly dead to sin and therefore no longer serve it? If the answer is no to those questions then you need to do your first works and find true redemption.

The message of Jesus is simple. Hear and do. Yield to Him with all your heart. Seek God diligently and He will break you whereby you will find yourself in a position of wholehearted yielding. You may not know much but you won't be in rebellion and it will be your faith that God reckons as righteousness despite any shortcomings due to ignorance. It is the heart God is looking at.

When we walk by a faith that works by love growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, following Christ is not a burden, it is simply what we do. We don't fear death or judgement because we are walking right with God. A fear of judgment is wrought in those who are not walking upright before God, and such fear is a good thing because it creates an incentive to seek reconciliation.

I hope this helps.

It's about grace through faith, not about works.
It is not about the works of the law or deeds done apart from faith. Faith itself is a dynamic mover because it is a work. Faith works. That is why the Bible speaks of a repentance proven by deeds. Noah "built" the ark by faith. Genuine faith = doing the will of God.

Grace THROUGH faith is simply a description of the working dynamic which produces a transformed heart. Grace is the divine influence of God upon our hearts (it is given freely to all) and faith is the wholehearted yielding to that divine influence. We are transformed via this dynamic of "working together with God" (2Cor 6:1) and are thus "made into the righteousness of God IN Him" (2Cor 5:21), if there is no working together or synergy then the grace of God is received in vain.

Sin is transgression of the law (1John 3:4) The bible says the Christian is not under law but under grace (Rom 6:14) The only way you can not be under the law is if Jesus died for all your sins, past, present and future. If he did not you must be under a law of righteousness before God. But Paul tells us:

Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness for everyone who believeth Rom 10:4

Now if you are not under a law of righteousness, you cannot be made unrighteous in God's sight by your imperfections concerning those laws can you? Therefore you are free:

For by one sacrifice he made FOREVER PERFECT those who are being made Holy Heb 10:14

If you are being made holy you are not perfect in your flesh. However, God sees you as perfect for He sees the sacrifice His son made for you at Calvary, not your imperfections. It is instinctive to a person they get what they earn, they get what they deserve, but that is not the way under the new covenant. Your one and only right standing before God is what Jesus did for you at calvary. It is the devil who wants you to believe you have a righteousness of your own personal goodness. You must stand against that, and rely on the Holy Spirit to help you, for He is your power on this earth. Therefore you have no unconfessed sins that will bar you from Heaven. Jesus died for the lot

Gal 1 Paul is addressing the members of the church in Galatia which in its self tells me that they are born of the Spirit because the carnal man, void of the Spirit cannot discern spiritual things according to 1 Cor 2:14. Paul is telling these church members that they are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel. If these brethren had been called into the grace of Christ, I would believe that they could not have been carnal men, void of the Spirit. In 2 Cor 11:4-5 Paul says, For if he that cometh preaching another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles. Paul was converted on the road to Demaskus, but he was born of the Spirit (regenerated) before his conversion even sitting at the feet of Gamaliel and was zealous toward God.

Sorry, straight to Hell. Do not pass GO. Do not collect $200. It is declared In Hezekiah 3:16 that no more than seventeen seconds may elapse between confessions. Everyone knows that.

The galatians did receive the spirit:
I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard? Gal3:3

in the middle of all the advice you will be getting you will the HS to guide you....so I give you this...
Acts 5:32
And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

and to be certain of eternal salvation I give you this... Hebrews 5:9
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

and for the best teaching seek the best teacher.....trust the anointing of God... 1 John 2:26-28King James Version (KJV)
[SUP]26 [/SUP]These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

[SUP]28 [/SUP]And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

God bless you
