*shrug* It's our way of revering G-d. Honestly, Harley's comment makes me smile, because she pretty much got it, and that doesn't happen often :)

G-d is the supreme Master of all things. He is the king of absolutes. He is absolutely holy, absolutely perfect, absolutely wrathful, absolutely loving, etc. G-d is the most amazing being in the universe, of all time. So I treat any word I use to refer to Him with the utmost reverence and respect, and to me, not a single piece of earthly trash is worthy to have His Holy Name written upon it :)

I feel that G-d takes something away from God... oh yeah it's a vowel :D . .. God is not God's name..it's a title... so i dont know what the fuss is about... it is a generic term .. God.. I know that real Jews revere the real name of God.. but G-d.. is a bit over the top.

the real Jews? Like they are somehow different than Nuhen? They all spell it "G-d." lol

Haha. How many times in that sentance did you use G-d as a name and not a title? I don't hyphenate the word god when I'm using it as a lower-case-g title. When I refer to ancient mythology or other religions, the word 'god' is appropriate, because that is the title the gods in those storied hold. When I refer to the One True G-d, however, it ceases to be a generic title and is instead a name, so I respect it.

Is it G-d or is it God? Because there is only one form of doctrine to be followed 1Cor.9:14 The Lord has ordained that they that preach the Gospel should live of the Gospel.meaning that if you preach it you have to be obedient to the Word that Jesus taught not only His Apostles but those that followed Him. To preach anything else is to decieve.Mark13:5-6 take heed lest any man decieve you for many shall come in my name saying.i am Christ. To know Christ is to fully know and understand the Word of God you can't know that in a chat room May God bless you
