I dont know if this is legit or just some made up BS but I think its worth looking at....

NOTE from Laura : ‘Yes, we most definately have to test all statements that are claimed to be prophecy. That’s so very crucial. I honestly don’t know how true this prophecy is, but I do feel it’s worth sharing. It seems accurate to me! But do test it yourselves. Either way, it certainly emphasises we all need to be ready, prepared, and to live seriously for God and to serve others in love, while there is still time. To touch people’s lives with Christ’s love and break out of any laziness, we may be in. Because surely, regarding the world today, it indeed looks like the end of the Last Days, as the Bible has described so very well.’

Astonishing 1968 prophecy by 90 Year Old Woman ! Post by Bert Farias.

An old woman of 90 from Valdres, in Norway had a vision from God in 1968. The evangelist Emanuel Minos had meetings (services) where she lived. He had the opportunity to meet her, and she told him what she had seen. He wrote it down, but thought it to be so unintelligible that he put it in a drawer. Now, almost 50 years later, he understands he has to share the vision with others.

The woman from Valdres was a very alert, reliable, awake and credible Christian, with a good reputation among all who knew her. This is what she saw :

“I saw the time just before the coming of Jesus and the outbreak of the Third World War. I saw the events with my natural eyes. I saw the world like a kind of a globe and saw Europe, land by land. I saw Scandinavia. I saw Norway. I saw certain things that would take place just before the return of Jesus, and just before the last calamity happens, a calamity the likes of which we have never before experienced........

This so called prophecy is too vague for my liking. "peace between superpowers... " erm ok sure we had the cold war, but that was still peace and the "cold war" has not really gone away for good as Ukraine shows us. Moral and social decline, seriously that is hardly unique prophetic word, we already know there will be a falling away and moral decline, the Bible tells us that, so all she is doing is repeating that. Science fiction writers in 1950s also wrote about this stuff.

Have we really had moral decline, or are we just more aware of some people's behaviour that used to be behind closed doors before?

I don't know of a golden moral age that ever existed.

Consider prophecies about Jesus before He came.. they were very specific. Particular people involved, the places involved, the nature of His birth etc..

The example the op has put up is not specific.. it is what people do with horoscopes-- broad enough to apply to most situations with a few extra little things added to make you think it is about you.

Check out the Barnum Personality Affect in psychology regarding this.

My main criticism I guess... Why would anyone nuke Australia?
But maybe that adds to the credibility because nobody would create that theory lol

4-foot long lizards? In the tropics it's quite easy to find 7-foot long lizards. So, yeah. Not Komodo-size, but big enough. :)

Well at one part she says the Lord comes then WW3 breaks out.
Unless she means and is talking about seeing the rapture before WW3, but if not then she has it backwards as in Revelation it shows WW3 with 1/3 or 2.3 billion people being killed before the Lords return. The Lord then comes back at the battle of Armageddon to destroy and throw the man of sin and false prophet in the lake of fire. The only battle after that comes at the end of the 1,000 year millennial reign of Christ when satan himself brings Gog and Magog up against the Lord.

Yes! Not only are they big and plentiful, but they're more poisonous/venomous than Julia Gillard!

Quote from the "vision":

4. “People from poor countries will stream to Europe. (In 1968 there was no such thing as immigration. —E. Minos.) They will also come to Scandinavia and Norway. There will be so many of them that people will begin to dislike them and become hard with them. They will be treated like the Jews before the Second World War. Then the full measure of our sins will have been reached (I protested at the issue of immigration. I did not understand it at the time. —E. Minos.)
Isn't this the political message: the people of Europe must endorse multiculturalism (its consequence islamization inclusive) in full else they are vile sinners. Maybe this is more a prophecy of the political correctness to come, which now dominates the west. I am sceptical about these kind of expressions.

All that she says is True, except what she calls a nuclear Bomb, is not nuclear, it is a blast that comes from the New City Jerusalem that effects the World, same effects of a nuclear bomb though.
i have had similar visions as well, and i have had conversations with God concerning the end times. But we live in the last days, who will believe the Truth in a world that refuses to hear it?

^i^ Responding to OP

Tony Abbott is a nice guy, but he does have some strange ideas. I would say Australia is becoming less about Judeo/Christian beliefs and values and Abbott (generally) brings a biblical understanding to politics, so lots of people don't like that. That said, the 'boat people' controversy is a tricky one and it seems neither side is happy with what's going on there.

I saw a documentary the other day about spiders in NSW and I actually took my feet of the ground. I was cringing on the lounge chair biting my nails. Man that spiders are SCARY…

More Bombs were dropped on Darwin by the Japanese than were dropped on Pearl Harbor.

Out biggest threat of attack, comes from our British/US alliance, and enemies wanting to target us for that.
