Speaking of that.

I find it interesting how different languages have slightly different thoughts about things.

In Norwegian "Good Friday" is "Langfredag" , lang means long.

Hmm..........I was just looking into this............weird............. :)

In German-speaking countries, Good Friday is generally referred to as Karfreitag (Kar from Old High German kara‚ "bewail", "grieve"‚ "mourn", Freitag for "Friday"): Mourning Friday. The Kar prefix is a cognate of the English word "care" in the sense of cares and woes; it meant mourning. The day is also known as Stiller Freitag ("Silent Friday") and Hoher Freitag ("High Friday, Holy Friday").

In italian it's:

Venerdì Santo

Which means simply, Holy Friday.

Interesting, because Holy means to be set apart from the rest for service to God.

And what did Jesus do on Good Friday?

Just took a shower. I feel sooo much better now. :) I'm selling my cat shower curtain and bath mat later on today for $20. That's good, because I go grocery shopping tomorrow and I can use that $20. :) My new bath mat and under-shelf storage bin came today. The storage bin doesn't fit into my cabinets though. :( But the bath mat adds another good splash of color to the bathroom. :) My new coffee maker and my new walker SHOULD be arriving today.. They better, or mailmandan is in trouble!! :p

LOL

Pilate asked "What is truth?". It seems to me he answered his own question by his writing on the cross:
Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews(and of us all)

Pilot was staring TRUTH in the face, but did not know it.

How is Tango doing? And how is Sugar?
Tango is in confinement with a cone on his head to keep him from licking the scar and has an after surgery checkup next week on the 18th. He is eating better and healing they just want him to be quiet and resting for now....

Sugar acts like we have brought a strange cat into the house when it's her brother with a cone on his head... She just hisses at him when she sees him but he is in his own private room so no big activity... Here I thought Sugar would mourn for him and be sad while he was at the kitty hospital for three days - but no...she became queen of the house and doesn't want to share her throne.... as she liked being the center of attention...

She walks around like Why did you bring that nasty boy back into the house? Hiss, Hiss.... crazy cat.
