I had the scariest thing happen yesterday. I was told I am a good at selling contacts and dry eye products at work, like it's a natural gift and I hate salespeople. The irony is I am dating a salesman,.....I'm still trying to figure that one out lol.

I was also training a new employee and realized a lot of what I learned in my medical coding class was coming out

Strange Days....

I was just thinking how the bible says in 2 Timothy 3 that in the last days people will be "not lovers of good", and how those who speak out against christians, abortion, conservatives, or just against people who are trying to do good have something that's almost like a gift... the gift of saying things that are difficult to logically argue against...

For example, a friend of mine on facebook was telling the story of something very unfair that happened to her involving a school that is in the news and was the subject of the public post and some stranger rudely accused her of being some kind of marketing spammer. I mean there's no way to reply to that without risking a verbal brawl. It was probably a troll but what disturbs me is how prevalent trollish or hateful speech is these days and how its crafted so that its difficult if not impossible to argue against... Strange days my friends... strange days!

from 2 Timothy 3:3 NIV:
"Men shall be.... without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,"

I think it is because they get away with it. They know the chances of someone actually taking action against them are microscopic... and the more they get away with, the worse they get. Just like toddlers testing their parents limits.

That may be true, but I was referring more to the fact that its everywhere. Its in public, its on the internet, its between family members, friends, aquaintances, etc... I don't know about in your country, but out here they keep having protests where property is damaged and people get violent and it seems like most people have a deep hatred for our president that goes way beyond objective reasoning. Even well-known celebrities are doing it. One very popular and secular radio host said recently, "if this isn't the end times, it sure has me fooled."

But this isn't just about the president... People now have no problem using the F word in public, common courtesy is very uncommon, people are quick to lash out and attack either verbally or physically, Crimes are becoming more and more unthinkable... just these past few weeks two people here in the US were eating in a restaurant when someone walked in, threw gasoline on them and set them on fire. They were both random acts.

Sorry, I really don't want to turn this into a discussion. I was just posting my thoughts in the first post.
