[FONT=&quot]I have been Atheist my entire 41 year old life. I have been attending church for the last 5 months and recently started working with the pastor entertaining the idea of becoming Christian. All of this because I learned about the evil of Islam and read the Qur'an and Hadith.

This really cheered me up today. While not being as big a part of my testimony as others, Islam was a part of my coming of faith in Christ. Just a few months before coming to Christ, I had talked with a Muslim online who told me about how Jesus was "just a prophet" and twisted scripture to prove his case, and of course I pretty much knew nothing about Christ so I just accepted what he told me.

And then after just weeks of turning to Christ I was guided to watch a video by Walid Shoebat, a former Muslim now Christian who speaks about the issue, and I had the chance to listen to him teach about how Islam denies Jesus, and how the Bible warns specifically about those who deny the Father and the Son, and Islam ended up helping my faith as well : p

Its awesome how God can use such great deceptions to call others to Him, I think : p I am glad that God finds use of every terrible thing in our world to help others.

I worry so when I drop a pill and it happens.... that one of the cats will be faster than I am and get it.
Same here. I'm like a pill nazi, always obsessively checking lids are secure and shut away :)

My hair stylist told me about her kitten that ate his way through her supply of aspirin. Obviously didn't end so well :(

Watch out for those egg beds too. There's a cheaper imitation floating around and cats have died when the egg flipped over, trapping them underneath. The original is better made, but I'm still nervous about taking that risk, so I don't leave them out.

I'm always the last person in my family to get told anything. Becky died in her sleep June 3rd from a brain aneurysm, and my sister just called me and asked me if I was going to the memorial service today. I said, this is the first I've heard about her service being today. :/

Anyhoo, I just viewed her obituary in our local paper, and signed her online guestbook. RIP my wonderful cousin Becky..

Thank you. :)

Yeah, it's par for the course in my family. :/ I'm ALWAYS the last to get notified when someone dies or is in the hospital..My brother called the day after Becky died and told me, so I knew that much. BUT since then, no one notified me about if or when her funeral would be. So when my sister called a while ago and asked me if I was going, I said no since it was literally last minute news. Besides with my stupid back, I can't sit for 2 hours at a service, then stand for another hour at the cemetery. Plus all my clothes aren't fit to wear to a funeral..

I avoid funerals at all costs. I have never been to a Christian funeral either.

I also only learned today, that my uncle, Becky's dad, died 6 months ago.. :( Both he and my aunt had Alzheimers, so it's fortunate that they aren't still here to go through the grief of losing a child.. But still I'm thoroughly disgusted that my family didn't even tell me. I knew he was in a nursing home and wasn't well, but I didn't know he died..

Thank you. :)
