They probably, most anyway, lovd you unconditionally.

My first little girl, a jack russell, had a liver ailment to which she succumbed after three plus years. She was old and already ill when I adopted her.

I have adopted danother who is wonderful. I believe she is jack russell and chihuahua. Anyway, my question is what kind of foods should I not feed her. For now she is just having dry, some moistened at midday then dry the rest. Ädn I give her brand name treats.

She had horrible breath when I got her, but her caretakers had been givig her dry food for toy dogs. I upped the size so her teeth would crunch them a bit and so far it seems to have cleaned her teeth well. Her breath is normal doggy breath and she stopped passing gas all the time Actually she stopped altogether, and that is quite a relief for all concerned.

She is five, frisky and very smart. She went from shaking and hiding to taking over everything in the houe and me in about three weeks. I have now had her three months.

Any suggestions ae very welcome. I do not want this one to suffer any dietary related ailments. My heart still aches when I think of dear Ella. God bless you for caring.

I took care of so many sick animals. It really is draining

I hate it so much.my cat amory is my baby and best friend. The closest thing i ever had. Hes already 15 years old so its a bit easier somehow but i just dont wanna loose him.
Ive been a wreck since yesterday when mom showed me the open tumor on his skin. And him being so old i dont wanna put him through the stress of doctors and surgerys
I just had 2 tumors taking off my dog which were not cancer. Are you sure? He is old (15) so may be late anyway.. Either way, Praying for you.

Every cat I had growing up was killed. I saw three get hit by cars. Mom would not allow an indoor only cat. So I feel your pain.

Good morning everyone. I had to work 12 hours yesterday. The last 2 hours was spent delivering packages in the dark helping out another carrier in "not so familiar territory." Thank God for navigation on my cell phone! :)

Looks like my old kitty got cancer...im so done

It's OK to cry as much as you want. As you cry remember all the blessing you had with your little friend. Thank God that you have something to cry about.

My wife and I had to put a cat down a few months ago. I can still cry about her and thank God for the joys of our little kitty.

Awww, that's sad. Animals should be exempt from ever getting sick. Just remember the good times, that she's had a good life and will soon be in God's kingdom with my Tequila and Sukie and every other kitty.. :)
I miss my little dog Yankee who died of cancer in 1992. Right now he's looking for his daddy and when he finds him we'll have a good time then. His little tail will be wagging too.

One thing we always do, is make sure the food has no sugar in it. Thats very important.
Canned food is good because of the wate content. We always had a bowel full of dry food all day, and gave our dog 2 to 3 times per day some canned food.
Make sure he always has a dog bone or a real bone tp chew on. Just No Chicken bones. Thats dangerous.

Well the thing that makes me think its cancer is because it bleeds. The crust comes off easyly and its thick and black...for me tumors equal cancer.
Hugs thx for the prayers

I hear that and that is why I didn't replace Baby right away I waited 18 months before getting Tango and Sugar and really I was only going to get one cat but I saw they were brother and sister and couldn't help myself. They have brought so much joy and kitty antics that I'm glad I waited and so happy to have them now.

Give yourself a break and then when you find a kitten that steals your heart again you will know you are ready.
