I actually didn't digest much of your posts on that, but I came across something this morning that may help some of us. The word sensible, used as you did, is only man trying to make sense of God. We just really need to give up on that. His ways are not our ways, and His foolishness is wiser than our wisdom.

Let me share a couple of links that will shed some light on my meanderings this morning. :)

You are right Phil, but what I was talking about is man trying to make sense of his world and his experiences based on the "sensible horizon" approach apart from how scripture says we are to represent these things.

I hear you, I'm just saying we simply don't have enough knowledge to make sense of our world. We have to know purpose for it to be sensible, and the only purpose God has given us is to serve Him. We don't know His purpose for us beyond this horizon, hence we must take things on faith. Faith is pretty important if we want to go to heaven y'know. :)

If you look at how big existence is compared to earth as the links show, we have to know it's just a matter of persevering 'til the end so God will show us His plan.............then and only then, IMHO, will it make sense to us.

I agree....based upon the following....

1. The things made are not made of what they appear to be made of..
2. God's ways are past finding out
3. The things seen are temporal
4. God's ways and thoughts so much higher than our thoughts
5. By worldly wisdom men cannot find, know and or discern God and or his ways

We are to walk by faith and not by sight....believe nothing of what you hear (worldly) and only half of what you see HAHA

Ok...I will quit rambling HAHA!

Yes, and if that had been our galaxy it would take 50,000 years at the speed of light to travel from the outer edge of the galaxy to the center.
