That your thinking your going to fully commit to the Lord and stop doing things you know you shouldn't do and weed out sin in your life especially willful sin and it goes okay for a week or two then you really mess up, and you feel so far from God. You fall flat on your face and wonder what happened? very frustrating.

It's a lack of understanding how change works. Tryout to change doesn't mean you make up your mind and poof you're sud different. It took time for you to delve into those sins. Now those sins are habits and/or addictions and will take time to get past.
Habits don't form over night. And often have a level of discomfort to them initially, sometimes even having to push yourself to do it (like smoking) so why would you think quitting would be easier?

You don't have to do it yourself; and will probably be more successful if you don't try!

If you want to do something that you know the Lord wants you to do, or want to stop doing anything you know the Lord wants you to stop; we have a promise that if we ask anything in His name (according to His revealed will) He will do it!

Confess to the Lord that you are willing but unable to obey in your own strength; and ask for help

Romans chp. 7 Paul here talks about himself. The answer later on I want to say in vs. 25 says Jesus Christ. Why is the answer Jesus Christ because he dealt with sin on the cross. Not only for our salvation but also for living our daily lives. He saved us from sin not so we would have to stay in sin. Christ made one trip to the cross but we have to stay there.
I lived the rollercoaster life until I was 50 yrs. old after being born and raised in church having both granddads as pastors and holding every position in a church you could think of. I finally one day cried out to God and said God you have got to do something because I feel like a total failure, I am tired and worn out from trying but still failing. Instantly it was like I seen Jesus hanging on a cross right in front of me with Him bleeding so bad that I could literally see blood dripping off his feet. When our eyes met I realized that He was there to pay my debt so that I would not have to suffer in hells torment since I was a condemned sinner. I somehow made it to Him and wrapped my arms around His feet with His blood running all over me. I repented over and over for the wrong that I had done and the pain I had put Him through because I had put my faith in my own efforts and not in Him. I could not believe what happened to me over the next few days as I felt like I had been born again, again.
That was 4 yrs. ago Dec. 5th and now I know what it is to be truly free, walking in the spirit, enjoying the abundant life, living in Christ, etc.
Here is the secret: First you have to surrender all of your selfish will and say God I am done with myself, I am a failure and I can not do this alone. Then repent, repent, repent, because all sin is really against God. Apologize for trusting in your own self efforts of trying to make yourself a better person and put all trust in what He has already done at the cross when He died for you. Yes, you.
No one can live in sinless perfection because we were born with a sin nature (Rom. 6th chp.) but when we keep placing our faith and keep our focus on Jesus and what He done on the cross for us then no matter how many times we fail if we don't give up then He won't give up on us.
The answer you seek for is in the cross of Jesus Christ and only there. It is for salvation and it is for living a victorious life over sin. He wants us free from sin! I will pray for you that God will give you a revelation of Jesus and Him crucified. God's prescribed order of victory is "the cross of Jesus".
Everyday, all the time keep your mind and your eyes on the cross of Jesus. Sing about the cross, when you pray picture in your mind Jesus hanging on the cross, talk to others about the cross of Christ, etc. Victory is yours in Jesus name!
This recipe is not for the weak in faith but only for those that really want a change because it's going to happen.

My heart is really heavy for you krow as I said a prayer for you. I feel that you are in a desperate situation but that is where God specializes! God loves you! Don't know what you are dealing with for sure but God knows and that is all that matters. Just keep leaning on Him! Hope you read my above post very thoroughly.

You get back up and keep pushing forward. When we are weak, he is strong. It takes some time, the Lord dealing and leading. He makes all things beautiful in his time.
