  • In New Age Bible Versions, G.A. Riplinger objectively and methodically documents the hidden alliance between new Bible versions and the New Age Movement's One World Religion.
New Age Bible Versions takes the reader behind the scenes to expose the corrupted Greek manuscripts, critical editions, lexicons and dictionaries behind new versions such as the NIV, NASV, NKJV, NRSV, NAB, REB, RSV, CEV, TEV, GNB, LIVING, PHILLIPS, NEW JERUSALEM, & NEW CENTURY. New Age Bible Versions goes on to reveal their occult origins and contents.
Each page of New Age Bible Versions opens a door exposing new version editors — men in agreement with Luciferians, occultists, and New Age philosophy —find these men in mental institutions, séance parlors, prison cells, and court rooms for heresy trials— and most shocking of all — denying that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. Five new version editors have lost their ability to speak.
Dr. Gail Riplinger also exposes yet unreleased material — a blueprint for the Antichrist's One World Religion and government.

This should answer everybody who supports modern versions. I'm aware that there is a strong deception where people are too proud to think maybe God preserved His Word in English and He does not need them to go back to second guess the method and men by which He accomplished this. He promised throughout the Bible that His Word would be kept perfectly preserved for us to hear His message without error and to know Him by His Word.

Modern versions are nothing but a modern attack on the faith of Jesus Christ, an attack on His Church, and an attack on His Word, the same as the devil in the garden of Eden said "yea, hath God said...:"

Please read this best selling book and start to look at the issue of God's perfect Word being given to us in our own language to know Him by without error.....

The modern attack againt the King James Bible is only an attack to keep your mind closed to the infallibility of God's Word NOW in English without you trying to have to change it to make it more palatable

I pray in Jesus' name that this OP doesn't prevent people from reading the Word of God in the event they don't own a KJV. This is some heavy condemnation to accept and before I would believe Gail Riplinger's word over all of those Bible translators, I would research both sides of this controversy online. Perhaps Google "New Age Bible Versions Refuted" or something to that nature. Just do your research and ask the Lord Jesus to give you wisdom in seeing the Truth of this matter.

If they don't have a KJV, they don't have the Word of God in English and your prayer in ignorance is not going past the ceiling.

You, Violet, are pretending to have God's authority for calling for a one sided argument. When you write a best-selling book like the one mentioned in the OP, then maybe you have actually done some work.

Yes, google "New Age Versions Refuted" and you will probalby find the BESTSELLING BOOK MENTIONED IN THE OP.

I'm sure you meant to be antagonistic to the OP, but out of one side of your mouth you rejected it and then accidentally supported it out of the other side of your mouth.......OOOPS!

Try to correct that. Ask people to Google things like: Why Modern Versions are good.

Did you know that the NIV had a known lesbian as one of the chief editors with the full support of the other editors? This is no secret, why don't you google it? It's the same kind of story with all modern versions. Why don't you do the research you are saying others should do?

If you want to dismiss the bestselling book of the OP and it's author without reading it, and then pretend like you actually know what the book said, here is the dissertation of ignorance which totally rejects the bestselling book and the author without reading it and without answering any of the facts laid out in it by a scholar who far surpasses the big mouth jealous lesser-educated person who made this website of vitreol agasint the OP:

You do know that the King Jim translators COMPARED the King Jimmy with the first ENGLISH version and practically copied VERBATIM the O.T. right?

You also know they transliterated words that woud offend their STATE religion so as to not lose their heads right?

You also know that to worship a version over the God of the version is also just as perverse right?

There is a term applied here...it is called GOING to SEED on something..........

Yeah I know so don't bother......!

Can you look at anything that challenges your opinion? Will you just dismiss the Bestselling book of the OP just like that and act like you know it all?

New Age Bible Versions was one of the first early Christian books I purchased when I first got saved back in 1992.

See, after I shortly got saved back in 1992, I was already quickly aware of the differences between the Modern Translations and the King James. I had seen that the changes were not for the better, but for the worse. I looked at a lot of the passages in the book titled, "New Age Bible Versions" and I did not need to be convinced any further.

So I had come to believe from the very start that God's Word was perfect and without error and that has never changed. Yet, that does not mean God did not test me to see if I would trust His Word and continue to have faith in Him or not. For one day I read a book that pointed out a supposed contradiction in God's Word. At first, I appeared shocked and it felt like my faith was on the line here. But I had the awakening by the power of the Spirit and knew I was saved. So there was no turning back. I knew the truth. Yet I could not explain what I had seen in the King James.

Now, do you know what I did way back then in the 90's when I discovered this? I basically said to the Lord that I did not have an answer for what I was seeing within His Word, but I was just going to trust Him and His Word was true regardless.

And you know what happened after that? Well, I am glad I did trust the Lord's Word back then. For after I renewed my faith in 2010 after God brought a loving Christian woman into my life from half way around the world, I had began to study God's Word again and made a very interesting discovery about this supposed contradiction.

So here it is:

Did Solomon have 40,000 stalls for his horses (1 Kings 4:26), or 4,000 stalls (2 Chronicles 9:25)?

Firstly, it should be noted that this “supposed contradiction” does not appear in the New International Version, which states that Solomon had “four thousand stalls” in both verses. However, the NIV translation mistakenly states that Solomon had twelve thousand horses, when in fact the original Hebrew text (and all other English translations of it) state that Solomon had twelve thousand horsemen. This error results in three horses per chariot (an unusually odd number) and three horses per stall (which seems a little crowded). Opening a lexicon, we see that the King James Version gives an accurate rendering of the Hebrew text (correctly translating the Hebrew parash as “horsemen”), and for this reason we know that this translation can be trusted in accurately explaining this “contradiction”.

With that said, let’s examine these two verses. 1 Kings 4:26 states, “Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen” while 2 Chronicles 9:25 states “Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen”.

1 Kings 4:26 counts only the horses that were intended to be used “for his chariots”. On the other hand,2 Chronicles 9:25 counts both the horses “and chariots” together.

1 Kings 4:26 states that Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses, meaning that he had forty-thousand stalls with horses in them. 2 Chronicles 9:25 counts both horses and chariots together. If each chariot stall contains within it ten horse stalls (perhaps one stall for each horse that pulls the chariot) then there is no contradiction.

Solomon had 40,000 stalls for his horses. Solomon had 4,000 chariots (three riders per chariot, since we know from both 1 Kings 4:26 and 2 Chronicles 9:25 that he had twelve thousand horsemen) and every chariot had its own stall. Chariots are pulled by multiple horses – in this case, ten horses. Each chariot stall had within it ten individual horse stalls – one for each horse that pulled that specific chariot.

In fact, here is a similar one.

Did David capture 1,700 of King Zobah's horsemen (2 Samuel 8:4), or was it 7,000 (1 Chronicles 18:4)?

2 Samuel 8:4 says that David took 700 horsemen, while 1 Chronicles 18:4 says that David took 7000 horsemen. These verses are not in contradiction. The King James version correctly describes 1000 chariots in both 2 Samuel 8:4 and 1 Chronicles 18:4. Both verses also state that David reserved 100 chariots. Combining the information from these two verses we see that David took 700 horsemen for the chariots he kept, but he took a total of 7000 horsemen away from the enemy king. The two different numbers for the number of chariots provide us with a consistent 7:1 horseman-to-chariot ratio. This is reasonable, as seven horsemen could easily share the same chariot.

So we can conclude that if one believes the Bible is not written entirely by God and reads something at face value like the above passages without the help of the Spirit teaching them, then one is only going to see errors in God's Word where none really exist.

1 Thessalonians 2:13

"For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe."

My personal preference is to read my NKJV, granted I know that KJV is more of an accurate version, but the NKJV is easier to understand. The "new age" does not interest me one bit and I know that every word in my bible is the inherent word of God.

Revelation 22:18-19
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Yes I am fully aware of all of the arguments agaisnt the King james Bible and the translators. You need to look at things from the other side, not me. I have looked at your side probably more than you have. I"m appealing to you to look at my side of the argument supporting the King James Bible as the only accurate translation of the Word of God in English ..not an idol for crying out loud, you can quit insulting me by saying I'm worshipping a translation. Believing God said what He said and gave it to me in my own language is not worshipping an idol.

I'm appealing to you, as you claim to be intellectually open to learn, to research on my side half as much as I have researched on your side of this argument. Look at the links, read for an hour or so.....and look at the book in the OP.

Are you afraid? What are you afraid of? I am not afraid of your side of the argument.
I posted a link of a man refuting the book of the OP. What he says does not bother me and I am not afraid to read through it to evaluate it. (really, from what I read he is saying nothing but pretending like his insults are proof that he is right)\

Why don't you take a deep breath and read through the documentations in support of my argument instead of throwing things at me which I have long ago researched and heard hundreds of times in arguments from people as I try to get them to listen to the other side. How in the world did people get their minds door so slammed shut to the possiblilty that God actually kept His Word pure and preserved for us, His people, to know Him by in our own language?

If you won't start taking some time to actually look at the side of the argument which you are rejecting with prejudice, i'm going to lose respect for you. I'm sorry. I hope you will take this well and look at the other side of the argument.

Having read this book, I'm interested in which particular argument particularly struck you as outstanding, Joe. We could discuss holus bolus and try to tackle everything at once, but perhaps to keep things directed, focussed, and clear, could you please perhaps give us the one argument you think most commends the book, and exposes modern translations, and we can discuss from there?

I created a thread in Defense of Sola Scriptura and I included this passage along with many others here:

http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/100040-biblical-defense-sola-scriptura.html

My ultimate goal was to tie each of my 8 points I made for Sola Scriptura (using Scripture) so as to defend the KJV as God's divinely inspired Word; However, at that time, I felt led by God to write about other things instead.

Hey Bro.....I have studied intently for the last 25 plus years...including two semesters on cults and the history of the scriptures.......The King James is a TRANSLATION and Transliteration made by 54 Episcopalian PRIESTS who were NOT INSPIRED....THEY in their own PREFACE declare that they have COMPARED their TRANSLATION/TRASLITERATION with ONE of the first ENGLISH VERSIONS...they HAD ONE primary rule...DO NOT translate anything that would OFFEND the KING.....

IT is occultic to WORSHIP ANY TRANSLATION that has been MADE by MEN.......accept it, reject it as I do not care...HISTORY proves the above and to deny it and oppose it by your stance is mundane....

There is a saying...it is called the KING JAMES ONLY CULT........Sorry, a best selling book will not change the facts as applied unto the King James and HISTORY....

For the record....I study from and teach from a Black Letter Edition of a Cambridge, Berkshire Leather KING JAMES that i bought in 1995 of the which it needs to be rebound as I have wore it out...just as I did the KING JAMES bible which I had before this one...having wore it out, rebound and worn out again........!
