If detractors would read the thread of my own posts this day, they will find I learn from Paul, and I do not deny Paul. Unhappily, the main detractor does not read what I have posted, or if he has, he is changing the meaning of what I have posted. The Holy Spirit did and does teach me, I know because of the miracles which accompanied my own conversion.

I do not think that Paul would deny anything I have posted about the Gospel, about him, and about Salvation in Jesus Christ..

No you are mistaken Jack,
because of your inability to look past the law of death that you/we were freed from by Christ's blood. If you disparage God's grace in looking at the law of Moses, are you not a detractor of His Holy Spirit? Think about that for a minute if you will not hear "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace."

The Law is good
as a schoolmaster ; all become guilty before God by the knowledge of it.This brings repentance> and then bring us to faith in Christ>.
We are graduates from death and the letter to life and liberty through faith in Christ. We are in a NT covenant now of faith in Christ that works by love.
The law of Moses is not a gauge for righteousness and something we delight to obey and do out of love for God. That is just blindness that stands in the face of grace.

It is obvious there are many people mistaking grace with license. Also obvious is these same teachers of grace know nothing of what exactly obedience is.

This stems from not knowing the teaching of Jesus Christ, nor having ever been familiar witht the law as He teaches it.

How can anyone believe they live in grace if he does not understand what obedience is?

Grace is not, nor ever will be license..

God bless all who live in Jesus Christ........amen.

This view belies the fact that you assume that those who actually believe that SALVATION is dia GRACE dai FAITH believe we can live anyway we want, sin like the worst lost man on earth and do back flips down the golden road of heaven.....I have NOT seen ONE PERSON say that because of GRACE we have a license to live anyway we want and I for one am tired of this LIE propagated by those who are stuck in the LAW and works for salvation!

Matthew 23:23 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.

We cannot doubt the words of our King. Again we should walk with justice, mercy and faithfulness in the law.

This belies a lack of understanding bro.......

JESUS was still UNDER THE LAW when HE WAS ALIVE as the NEW COVENANT was NOT RATIFIED until HIS DEATH........A transitional PERIOD IS COMING ON LINE and while UNDER THE LAW JESUS had MEN do things that were REQUIRED under the LAW...SUCH as the men healed of LEPORSY and how they were TOLD to present themselves to the PRIESTS and do what was REQUIRED.......after HIS death, burial and resurrection SHOW one place where the apostles DID the SAME thing after they HEALED SOMEONE!

You have said it. Paul does not contradict Jesus Christ. If you see contradiction in Paul, you must first learn the teachings of the Master (master means teacher here). Understand Jesus Christ first, and then you will possibly understand His student.

Another misnomer and showing of ignorance with this statement.....

The words of PAUL are the WORDS of JESUS they ARE EQUAL IN WEIGHT and AUTHORITY...PAUL was given the WORD by DIRECT REVELATION from JESUS. PAUL WAS INSPIRED BY JESUS....I for ONE an SICK of those who DISTINGUISH between the WORDS OF PAUL and the WORDS of JESUS......the ONLY distinction made is that JESUS, while he walked the earth, was UNDER THE LAW because the NEW COVENANT had not yet been RATIFIED by HIS death. PAUL writes to those who are FULLY under the NEW COVENANT.......TO lessen the WORDS of PAUL is to belie the INSPIRATION of the scriptures, is the BELIE the direct REVELATION of JESUS to PAUL, is the BELIE and belittle the very WORD of GOD the words of JESUS who is GOD....and sets forth a particular IGNORANCE of scripture!

I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. [SUP]13 [/SUP]But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth John 16:12&13

People who lessen the words of PAUL and place then with less value than the words of Jesus are ignorant of a few things....

1. The word of PAUL are the WORDS of JESUS
2. PAUL was taught by direct REVELATION from JESUS
3. To distinguish between the two and place one above the other belittles the very inspiration of the word and the words of JESUS
4. They (the words of JESUS and WORDS of PAUL) are EQUALLY the words of GOD I.E. JESUS
5. Jesus was under the law until his death RATIFIED the NEW COVENANT
6. The words of PAUL are written unto those who are fully under the NEW COVENANT!

I believe what is being stressed by Gandolf The White is that the law practiced with justice, mercy and faithfulness will never disappear. Jesus Christ observed all of the law with justice, mercy and faithfulness. He was never "under the law," for He is perfect, and He gave the law to Moses.

Think about this, when Jesus Christ saved the woman caught in adultery from being stoned to death as prescrived by strict law, H broke one of th laws stating she should be stoned to death, for there were ample witnesses to fill the criteria of condemning her. How is it Jesus caused them to not stone her as according to the law.

Jesus Christ teaches us teh law is good when used lawfully ith justice, mercy and faithfulness. He teaches us so much more about how the law is still to be obeyed while yet leivingin grace for He knows our frame.

The quote from Gandolf the White is very explicit on how the law should be utilized lawfully with justice, mercy and faithfulness. It is a wonderful teaching for all to consider well.

Unhappily, many folks do not take into consideration that the Epistles are Letters to specific assembliees who were experiencing specific problems in their understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this cause the letters were written to them. Now there is much to glean from the letters to this errant bodies, however if one has indeed learned of Christ and the Holy Spirit, he does not need the Epistles.

All to many theologies under the infulence of the problems addressed to one group or another have been formed and have failed as theologies because they do not rely totally on the Gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by HIm. Again, as Paul teaches, there is no other gospel.

If people wish to glean a theology from Paul only, they should do all Paul teaches to all of those errant assemblies, however when one learns from the Master, he will always understand the His Teachings, HIs Gospel, without the clutter of the problems of such as Corinthians, Colossions, Romans, ets. It is good to read that history of our progress, however remaining always in the words of Yeshua is the Way, the Truth and the Life, amen.

By the way, the foundations of the New Jerusalem are built as twelve, not thirteen. This may or may not be important to you or others.

Exactly what someone would write who really has no desire to learn and grow to a fuller understanding because of being stuck in a rut while holding to the laws, traditions and doctrines of men..........

What does it say about every word being inspired and PROFITABLE.........what a cop out!

No, he did not. Eph 1 and 2 states clearly we have it now.

1. he blessed us already with every spiritual blessing. past tense

[SUP]3 [/SUP]Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

2. He chose us before the word was even created to be held blameless before God, adopted as his son, and acceptable to him

[SUP]4 [/SUP]just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, [SUP]5 [/SUP]having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, [SUP]6 [/SUP]to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

3. we have the forgiveness of all sin, based on his redemptive act, not because we earned it by being good and doing certain things,

[SUP]7 [/SUP]In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

4. we have obtained an inheritance, when we first trusted (had faith) in Christ.

[SUP]11 [/SUP]In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, [SUP]12 [/SUP]that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

5. We have the eternal guarantee and seal of the Holy Spirit this seal which will last until the day of redemption and can not be broken

[SUP]13 [/SUP]In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, [SUP]14 [/SUP]who[SUP][b][/SUP] is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

6. He made us alive (born again, eternal life) who were dead because of sin. and seated us at the right hand of God (again past tense)

2 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

[SUP]4 [/SUP]But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, [SUP]5[/SUP]even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), [SUP]6 [/SUP]and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

7. we are saved, recieve these things, and adopted as sons based solely on the grace of God, and not our works. It is a gift of God. and nothing we can take credit for (boast) and again, past tense.

[SUP]8 [/SUP]For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, [SUP]9 [/SUP]not of works, lest anyone should boast.

8. It is after we are saved, receive the inheritance which is incorruptible, predestined to us, given as his son, and guaranteed by the seal of the HS, that we produce works, which we were created (made a new creature) to do

[SUP]10 [/SUP]For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

9. He abolished what stood between us and God (the law) and made us unacceptable to even be in his presence, and made us one in Christ, fully acceptable to God. And in it, have given us peace, and rest. and in this, has reconciled us to god (again past tense)

[SUP]14 [/SUP]For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, [SUP]15 [/SUP]having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, [SUP]16 [/SUP]and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity

I could go on and on and on in this passage and also all the rest o f his books to prove how what your claiming should be easy for us to understand is not only wrong, But not according to the word of God.

If you can read this, and still claim that we do not recieve any of these things until death, then you are not reading the words of Paul, your reading with blind eyes, and ignoring the true glory and wonder of Gods unfailing love, grace and mercy

He will never get it...I gave him the biblical definition of justified up on page 11 and he denied it and called it a man made definition.........

I believe some get the Law and sin confused, Jesus did not abolish the Law, Jesus abolished sin.

What is sin? Sin existed in the world long before the Law was given through Moses. To my understanding sin is placing our will above the will of God, considering ourselves equal to God or even better than God. (if you eat of this fruit you will be gods). So sin is not disobeying the Law as some would proclaim, but it is denying that God (Yahweh) is the Creator and "Lord" of all things. Only the nation of Israel was ordered by God to obey his Law, yet all humanity perishes because of sin, whether or not they are under the Law. So we can conclude that death comes because of sin under the Law and death comes because of sin where there is no Law.

Abraham is our example for he believed God (he confessed that the will of God was above his own and submitted to God's will) This is what is required for us to be saved. We must believe that God is our Creator and Lord and deny ourselves and fully submit to the will of God. Abraham lived long before the Law was given, but was forgiven his sin because he fully submitted to the Lordship of God.

We have a much greater revelation than Abraham, we have the Law given through Moses and the grace and truth revealed by Jesus Christ. We have a much greater understanding of sin because of the Law and a much greater understanding of grace because of Jesus Christ.

We are called to repent (deny our will and submit to the will of God) and believe the Gospel (Jesus Christ destroyed the sin of the world). We are not called to obey the Law of Moses with all its rules and regulations, but just like Abraham we are called to deny ourselves and submit to the will of God and the will of God is for us to follow Jesus Christ, to Love God and Love one another. And by doing this we naturally obey the Law. Sin no longer has dominion over those of us who place our trust is Jesus Christ because we have denied ourselves and submit to the will of God which is the end of sin.

Now because of our greater revelation we know that our submittion to the will of God does not save us, but Jesus Christ saved us by his death and resurrection. And also Abraham was not saved by his faith, but he also was saved by Jesus Christ. And our faith just like abraham's faith is a gift from God, to Him be the glory forever.

I believe from scripture we can conclude that it is the will of God to reconcile all of his creation to himself, therefore the only part of his creation that is not reconciled are those parts that deny the will of God and seek to establish their will above the will of God.

Christ be with you always.

lol. If jesus sinned once, he would have been condemned by the law.

Jesus was under the law. he is the perfect sacrifice because he never broke the law. not that he went over minute of every day thinking, I have to obey the law)

Amen and although there are a few on here who deny it...Jesus was tested, tried and tempted just as we are, yet without sin......He stood firm and is the primo example of a man 100% led by the spirit of God........and without sin......

Once more I am pursuaded to post about the lawwritten on stone as opposed to written on the table of our hearts.

When the law is written on stone it leaves no room for justice, mercy and faithfulness.

However when it is written on the table of our hearts, in our inward parts, because it is flesh we are able to demonstrate justice, mercy and faithfulness by the conversion to the new person we have become. We are no longer under the law, that is the curse of the law, but the laws under the auspices of these three fundamental guides has become viable for those who walk in faith and in the Holy Spirit.

Onece again, we do not take away from the commandments and laws on moral behavior just because we live in grace, God forbid. Otherwise we our be licentious in not thinking we have a need to not steal, lie, covet disrespect our parents, worship another god, not that there is one. We would not observe the law to be kind to our enemies, and so many more obvious ly good laws on moral behavior.

If your reference is to me being stuck in a rut, I am afraid your assessment of my walk in Jesus Christ Yeshua, has been stamped into stone, you could not be farther from the reality of my walk with HIm. He is constantly letting me know to turn this way or go that way, and though the faith I have now is the same as when He gave it to me, I change constantly according wo what I have been given to learn. If you reference is to GandolfTheWhite, this too is most like ly a ver bad assessment.

Anyone who continues to seek, is learning and willing to learn. I believe all who are heree in the forum in spirit and truth are doing exactly thiis. May God bless you with all discernment and understanding, amen.

Yes the law is written on our hearts, it is the same law. Which condemns us, It can not save us it can not keep us saved.

Brother your error is to lessen, cheapen and then place the words of Paul under the words of JESUS....JESUS INSPIRED PAUL, taught him BY DIRECT REVELATION and the WORDS of PAUL are the very words of JESUS.....To cheapen the words of PAUL and place less of an emphasis upon the words of PAUL will in turn close your mind to truths that ARE TO BE RECIEVED and INCORPORATED into your belief system.....

BY the above action and by default you yourself limit yourself to a fuller knowledge of the truth! EVEN if you don't see it and or are willing to admit it!

Oh to be in heaven when I can do this also. And not be the wretched man that I am.

Amen to this for sure..........in light of the righteousness of Christ we are all wretched in the flesh.....thank God for the righteousness of Christ being imputed to all who genuinely believe without the deeds of the law at that!

I would never presume to judge anyone in such a manner. In patience and longsuffering I do not judge others ever.

Had you read in your own thread my own posts today only, you would have not jumped to such claims of knowledge of what I think of Paul.

Had you kept in mind Paul's own teachings about Jesus Christ you would understand that what he teaches coincides with everything I have posted on the subject in your thread this very day.

Now I must, in all conscience in the sight of God, my Father, unsubscribe. If you know all about me and what I need for proper salvation in your esteem and good judgment, by all means, in the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior, let me know by message. God bless you in what you need for understanding the family in Jesus Christ, amen.

Re: The Law as a School MASTER
Yes, just as Paul teaches there is no other gospel than that of Jesus Christ, so it is that not only Paul, but all who believe learn of the Mastser, for He is the Source of all wisdom and knowledge. If we do not learn from Him, we only have second -hand learning, even from our most trusted brethren.

The most wonderful aspect of this is that Yeshua invites us to learn directly from Him, going on to let us know His burden is light, and His yoke is easy.. Now He said this in reference to the hypocrites who lay heavy burdens upon the laity while not being willing to lift even a finger to bear them themselves, honoring God with their lipz while their hearts are far away, somewhere else.

Isn't it wonderful to be invited to Jesus Christ's classroom by Jesus Christ, Himself.

I pray you do.

Pay attention to the posts you claim to be addressing. No one hs said Paul's writings are without value, though I have emphasized that the Gospel of Jeuss Christ, from Jesus Christ, will save any amn who learns His techings, for Paul claims to be teaching the same Gospel, or have you read anything I have posted at all? Now I believe you are attempting to Salemize my posting by pitting the teachings of Paul against the teaching of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Watch what you are attempting to say, rather to accuse young person. Jesus Christ was not changed by Paul. As I have mentioned I have learned much from Paul, but I am afraid most who read Paul have severe tunnel vison, leaving out any change for the Gospeel of Jesus Christ from Jesus Christ to be effective.

Yes, with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spiri nothing else is necessary if it is His will. Even Paul knew this elementary understanding.

I have a question for you then if God does not need to one to show their faith in works, why does Matthew 25 and Luke 12:43-48 both cast those who do not do into the lake of fire. Both groups are believers or called servants, and in Luke Jesus says when He comes those He finds not doing God's will in their lives by still treating others wrongfully then He will cut them in two and appoint them a place in the lake of fire with the unbelievers. He even says those disobedient servants of His will be punished more then those who never knew Him.
what about Luke 12:46?
In order to be true you would need to be saved and I think they were put with the unbelievers because that's what they were.

Why did Paul say:

Carry each others burdens and so fulfil the law of Christ Gal 6:2

Why did he not say.

''Obey Christ's individual commands and so fulfil the law of Christ?''

Actually Apostle Paul did say by walking in the fruit of the Spirit love that we will uphold the commands of the Lord, and even the 10 commandments. He also many of times showed in his epistles how the commands will be upheld by a born again believer;
