What? Maybe I'm not reading your posts right..

I am a sinner because I am a fallen, broken..selfish, prideful (arrogant) and rebellious person. I am a human being, being a human. BUT there is no excuse for sin.

What is your secret to not sinning? I'm interested.

I am a sinner because no one is perfect (save one)... And so are you. :)

"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us." 1 John 1:8

No one is without sin, and there is no good excuse.

Yes we have sin in the flesh...but if we hate it and cooperate with God in getting rid of it...then our identity is not the sin in our flesh...but a born again holy spirit by the measure of faith given...which we are then required to be good stewards of (to whom much is given shall much be required).

I (the real and eternal me/child of God) am not male or female, greek or jew, am less than an hour old, am from heaven, not corruptible, of the same one family with one Father, and will never die...and the real born again me has not sinned...because its notI who does it but sin in my flesh (Romans 7).

1 Corinthians 15:43-45Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

43*it is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44*it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.

There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45*And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

1 John 3:8-10Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

8*He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9*Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10*In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Romans 7:20-22Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

20*Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

21*I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22*For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

Another example is...

Matthew 16:22-24Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

22*Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. 23*But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

24*Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

The identity of Peter is not the sin in the flesh.

Well, you are a liar and therefore a sinner...

1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
