‘For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.’ – Galatians 5 vs 17

Dearly Beloved, a lot of brethren are constantly been condemned by their minds as a result of their ignorance in the operation of the flesh. Open your spirit to this teaching. Be Blessed in Jesus Name.

Our opening scripture informs us that the flesh lusteth against the Spirit. The word lusteth as used there in the Greek is “epithumeo”, and it simply means ‘to desire’. In other words, that scripture will be translated as such: The flesh desires things which are contrary to the nature of the Spirit.

Brethren, take note, it didn’t say that the flesh might lust after the Spirit, no! But it says, the flesh lusteth after the Spirit, meaning in our daily lives, we’re gonna be experiencing such wars in our flesh. – Selah

Why are you condemned by your mind when suddenly the wrong thought pops up in your mind? Hasn’t the scripture already informed you that it’s gonna be happening? – Selah. Why are you condemned in your mind when you feel the wrong urges? Hasn’t the scripture already informed you that it’s gonna be happening? – Selah. So what then? When these things comes up, fist and foremost, we don’t accept them as desires or thoughts that have come from us. Why? The Bible said in the book of Romans 8 vs 9, ‘But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit…’ – {KJV}. You know what that means? It means because I am not in the flesh, the desires, the thoughts that I naturally will to do will not be fleshy, so when a fleshy thought pops up in my mind, I don’t accept it as one that has come from me because the scripture said it was gonna happen, so I can’t afford to claim such involuntry occurrence as an action that has come from me. You see? Oooo, how I wish you get my Phronesis. – Selah. The Bible says I am in the Spirit, so I only claim thoughts, desires, intentions, wills that are in consonance with the nature and operation of the Spirit. Hallelujah!

Brothers and Sisters, when the flesh brings up evil in your mind and emotions, know that it is natural for that to happen because we’re still living in the body of sin, hence; don’t be condemned in any way. Two, don’t yield to the desire the flesh brought to you mind, don’t yield to the thoughts the flesh brought to you. It is very normal for any Christian to have thoughts to fornicate, but don’t fornicate! – Selah. It is very normal for any immoral thought to strike in the mind of any caliber of Christian, yes, but to view the thought, shut it down! – Selah.

In a nut shell, what I want you to understand is this, that you have not sinned because some fleshy intentions came to your mind, no, it’s natural; it’s normal!

So when the flesh battles, comes up with it's evil desire(s), know that it is natural and normal, only don't yield to it.

God Bless You.
