In the Lord Jesus Chris I greets you all,

Our dear brother John.

15. Love not the world, neither thethings that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love ofthe Father is not in him. 16. For all that is in the world, the lustof the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, isnot of the Father, but is of the world. 17. And the world passethaway, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abidethfor ever. (1 John 2:15-17)

How may follows today this important doctrine from our dear brother John's letter?

The churches do not teach this today, because the are far away from the real way's of the Lord, and instead they teach how to love world, and how to make feel like the christian even though the person is not true christian.

Separate from your local church which refuse to teach this vital doctrine to the peoples, because this kind of church is one of the fallen church which colonize the world today.

few live right. fewer teach right. it often takes years of Yahweh's severe and gentle discipline to get out of
bad and totally wrong gospels and teachings and practices because of the way things are. (the whole world is lost).

you know this, and i know this, and a few others (here) know this,

and a lot don't know this (here and everywhere). they make excuses, they trust whoever deluded them,

maybe even themselves, instead of trusting God's Word and God Himself.

this is as elsewhere, as in God's Word , simple warning, very serious warning, for any as such as the Lord our God shall call to Himself,
so that they may know and realize if and when they realize that what they were told was true, wasn't,

and that they can and should and may make God very very very happy and delighted by placing their faith in

Him at once, once for all time, and also every day they have life and the choice to do so.

a strict warning, a woe, danger for their soul, for >
those who trust the law as if it can make them righteous,
those who trust grace as if they can ignore the law,
those who trust a man full of demons because he runs a church that's got a 2000 year history,
those who trust scholarship, or income(any monetary/worldly kind),
or lineage, or religion, or any carnal thing

So in your opinion is the passage speaking of physical world created in Genesis 1:1, or rather the body of space an matter that forms our physical world the universe?

In Romans 1:20 it is written, "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:" Which to some indicates the physical world or rather, this universe.

Who is a true Christian? How do you measure them? How can you measure them? Is it not up to God and God alone to judge another now?

Surely if you believe in your heart that Christ was, and is that saves you on its own. And God knows your heart. Or is there some reward we're able to boast of for good works I haven't been told about?

Yes the world is lost but only in so much as we have been banished from the garden of Eden and Gods presence until the coming day of the Lord restores it and us to Him.

What churches do you mean specifically that don't preach or advocate 1 John 2:15-17 ? They are fundamental words of Jesus as of Johns testimonial and they are true words to live by. Keep your mind on what is above and not what is below. I don't think any church would refuse to teach any part of the bible to a Christian or church attendee as though they would do it to try and control that person somehow. Is that what you are suggesting bro?

Such doom and gloom! Cheer up and be of good cheer!

Christ is coming and he's got free beer! :)

Jesus ate and drank with sinners and tax collectors, prostitutes and thieves. He did not totally separate Himself from the world, and neither should we!

What John was talking about was separating ourselves from the attitudes of the world, not completely disassociating ourselves from the world. If you miss that, you miss our purpose in being saved and yet remaining here on Earth. Now we're justified, made righteous in Christ, not in or of ourselves. We are sanctified, set apart as holy, but also constantly being sanctified, made holier, by Christ finishing the work in us that He has started, toward being made ultimately sanctified when we put on our white robes of heaven. <-- But those? They are not the goal, they are merely the reward of the good and faithful servant.

How do we serve? By loving God, and loving others -- the tenets upon which the Law and the Prophets hang, as Jesus Himself said (Matthew 22:40).

How do we love God? We marvel at what He has done in us through Christ, and glorify Him for that work. We study His word to learn of Him, and know the way we are to walk in order to walk with Him. We pray, thankfully, imprecatorially, intercessorily.

How do do we love others? By sharing the love, truth, and Gospel of Jesus Christ! And how are you going to do that if you refuse to associate with them? You don't. You surrender your sword, and are totally useless to God's Army.

Separate from the attitude of the world, not from the world itself.

In the world, but not of the world.

I find when I start worrying about what other christians are doing the Lord reminds me, You need to worry about what You are doing.
The Church is Christ and he is more than able to care for his body.

Jesus said to let the tares grow up with wheat lest you damage the wheat. Let's make sure we are not tares because the Lord only saves the wheat, but throws the tares into the fire.

Christ have mercy.

I believe that John was referring to idolizing material things and which God didn't created; but it does says to love one another, and which that is one of God's creation.

So, basically, John was referring to not to love the ways of this world.

Yes that is the true message of this that writing. Do not love the ways of this world, because they are not the ways of our Lord, and God.

To love not the world or the things that are in the world is a growing process through grace and truth. To set ourselves apart from the world is a every thought process. To do it all at once is not practical and not how God does it. God drives the enemy out little by little and we separate ourselves from loving the things that are in the world the same way. This allows us to be able to hide the word in our heart and learn to walk by faith one step at a time. This is how we get to know our Lord and to have fellowship with him through the Spirit. We learn this through an attitude of faith-rest without striving and the love.of God covers us when we fail. God is first after our hearts and then we will conform to the will of God.

There is no reason, to slow down this vital change, but if you still do so, you most likely do that according to the flesh, which is against the Spirit, and the values of God.

Be careful that you may not buy time for your sinful life, and get lost by reason of that.
