Do you sometimes get caught up in what other religions are doing and what there traditions are? Do your religious traditions help you to be closer to God? Every Christian denomination is unique but yet some people in a church are arrogant about their denomination being the only right one. There is only one bottom line, Christ! Born of a virgin, mortal and diety, shed His blood as a living sacrifice, buried and risen. The law of sacrifice abolished forever. Who can argue that?

Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.[/FONT]

We cannot judge who is correctly handling the word, we must look only to grow in understanding and wisdom as God grants each of us. I've heard many preachers say that one comes and says oh such and such thing you said really hit home. And the preacher knows he didn't say anything like that, but God speaks to each of us individually, even in corporate settings.

So whatever tag you wear, it is not permanent. Thank God!

The only tag you get that is permanent is the one you get at the only place that is permanent.

Personally, I would like to do away with denominations all together. To me, it shows division in the Body, and I don't think that's right nor do I think that's what G-d or Yeshua want.

I wish it were possible to get billions of people to be of one mind, especially when the majority of them claim to be serving the same God. Unfortunately, too many people can't put aside their differences. It's hard having someone tell you that what you believe is wrong. When you add in so many other variables like language and personal meaning, you might as well be talkig to brick walls for the most part.
