So I had a dream from God a week or so ago, so vivid and sound I just knew it was real. Not the micheal jordan of dreams for joseph or daniel but real on my level. So the dream started with me in my car taking a freeway exit I know well and the brakes go out on the car. I'm trying to work the brakes and they come back off and on. Finally they work and I stop before I hit a car at the light. Then I'm somewhere else and my wife is telling me she's gonna quit Christianity and divorce me. So I say fine. Then I'm somewhere else with my father in law. I tell him I'm leaving in my car to go back to my parents. He then knocks my tooth out and I spit it out and canker worms come out. Then I wake up with this sense, I can't let this happen. I got the general idea of the dream but I was still praying. That day there was a funeral for a church brother. I notice when we are getting ready my wife is watching wedding proposals online. Not normal for her and a bad topic for us all the time cause I possibly gave her the lamest simplest wedding proposal. I felt like man I'm lossing her, so I did the husband rebound and gave my best tom petty and the heartbreakers attitude of powtyness. It worked. Then God Godspeeded me the whole dream interpretation. I needed to put the brakes on this. I guess the funeral along with her fear of my health issues was gonna make her give. DREAMS AND VISIONS ARE BIBLICAL PROMISE

God spoke to people sometimes in dreams. Examples are Joseph, son of Jacob (Genesis 37:5–10); Joseph, the husband of Mary (Matthew 2:12–22); Solomon (1 Kings 3:5–15); and several others (Daniel 2:1; 7:1; Matthew 27:19). There is also a prophecy of the prophet Joel (Joel 2:28), quoted by the apostle Peter in Acts 2:17, that mentions God using dreams. So God can speak through dreams, if He chooses to.

However, we must keep in mind that the Bible is complete, having revealed everything we need to know from now until eternity. This is not to say that God does not work miracles or even speak through dreams today, but anything God says, whether through a dream, vision, impression, or “still small voice,” will agree completely with what He has already revealed in His Word. Dreams cannot usurp the authority of Scripture.

If you have a dream and feel that perhaps God gave it to you, prayerfully examine the Word of God and make sure your dream is in agreement with Scripture. If it is, prayerfully consider what God would have you do in response to your dream (James 1:5). In Scripture, whenever anyone experienced a dream from God, God always made the meaning of the dream clear, whether directly to the person, through an angel, or through another messenger (Genesis 40:5–11; Daniel 2:45; 4:19). When God speaks to us, He makes sure His message is clearly understood.

That's alot of crap. Anything seem unbiblical about it? God is not allowed to speak or something? Like he quotes only Scrpture to angels or demons. Like he cannot give commentary on the Bible. Only the Spirit can explain the Bible. Thats Scripture. Just another reason cessationist are wrong. Its the pride that you could search the deep things of God yourself. Its the pride that you can know the things of God without the Spirit of God. Dont give me that Godspeed crap its obviously not happening with everyone claiming they prayed over studying. Dont give me Holy Spirit in your heart sentiments; we all got that. The Bible requires a commentary from the Spirit.

Maybe your dream is signifying that your life is a near car wreck and it's time to take inventory.

Maybe it was, you know, just a regular dream? That seems like a perfectly reasonable explanation.

Why would you toss out a perfectly sound, natural and valid explanation in favour of a supernatural one?

You interpret dreams without God. Thats not daniel or joseph. You interpret Scripture without Holy Spirit. Thats not biblical. I know I know, study oh magnificent one you are, to show yourself approved (without God)? You realize the bereans weren't just tosted Bible's and expected to study, they were told revelations from Holy Spirit by men of God then they studied (the Bible they had the OT). Its really no different. The pharisees always boasted of having the law (Bible) with no need from anyone to give a divine explaination. I challenge the idea we don't need revelations on Scripture now. Its the same thinking as pharisees the written law will work itself by study. Yet Jesus challenged them continually with revelations. The New Testiment requires God as commentator.

All this from the guy that believes, despite calling Himself a prophet, feels he is above being questioned or held to biblical testing. Or even having confirmed any of his 'prophecies'. Yet wants to ask about things being unbiblical or talk about others doing things without God.

Check yourself idiot. My prophecies are coming true and I take the Biblical test, I say Jesus Christ came in the flesh. I'm Holy Spirit proclaimed with your bs degree in theology. You judge me, who made you a judge. You try to teach on here, oh my, youre claiming to be a third teacher after prophets guess youre better than all those pastors, even though the Bible says be not many teachers. Guess youre all screwed and have greater damnation cause you are self proclaimed teachers, at least by your reasoning that if you do it you are proclaiming yourself.

There is a far more famous dream that foretold the shocking death of a national leader more than a century earlier. President Abraham Lincoln dreamed of his own death not long before he was going to be assassinated. He reported to a friend that the dream had troubled him for days and he could not shake the melancholy it induced. It is as if he were allowed to grieve his own tragic demise in advance.

The extraordinary details are recorded in “Recollections of Abraham Lincoln, 1847-1885″ (Ward Hill Lamon, 1911):

About ten days ago, I retired very late. I had been up waiting for important dispatches from the front. I could not have been long in bed when I fell into a slumber, for I was weary. I soon began to dream. There seemed to be a death-like stillness about me. Then I heard subdued sobs, as if a number of people were weeping. I thought I left my bed and wandered downstairs. There the silence was broken by the same pitiful sobbing, but the mourners were invisible. I went from room to room; no living person was in sight, but the same mournful sounds of distress met me as I passed along. It was light in all the rooms; every object was familiar to me; but where were all the people who were grieving as if their hearts would break?

I was puzzled and alarmed. What could be the meaning of all this? Determined to find the cause of a state of things so mysterious and so shocking, I kept on until I arrived at the East Room, which I entered.

There I met with a sickening surprise. Before me was a catafalque, on which rested a corpse wrapped in funeral vestments. Around it were stationed soldiers who were acting as guards; and there was a throng of people, some gazing mournfully upon the corpse, whose face was covered, others weeping pitifully. ‘Who is dead in the White House?’ I demanded of one of the soldiers ‘The President’ was his answer; ‘he was killed by an assassin!’ Then came a loud burst of grief from the crowd, which awoke me from my dream.

After President Lincoln’s assassination his casket was, in fact, put on a platform in the East room where soldiers were stationed to act as guards. Dreams are far from meaningless fantasy or random neurological discharge. They are direct communications from the source of being which guide us, grow us, enrich us, and on sad occasion, forewarn us of events destined to change the world. - See more at: President Abraham Lincoln’s Prophetic Dream That Foretold His Own Death In The White House

Idiot huh? How Godly of you. I've witnessed you on several occasions say you don't owe anyone proof of your claim or having to live up to biblical scrutiny.
Funny how rude and nasty you get while boasting of your Godliness and supposed prophetic abilities. All the while changing your story to suit the moment.
So any judging I do here is based off of Your fruits.
And while accusing me of judging you begin judging me and accusing me. So we can add hypocrite to your list of abilities. Just not prophet.
By the way I never claim to be a teacher. Nor do I claim any grand knowledge of theology. If you're going to try to attack me at least get your story straight. Oops. Forgot who I was talking to. I take that last part back, we already know it's not going to happen.

Calling a brother an idiot and then saying you pass the biblical test is rather...contradictory, don't you think?

I had a dream where I was at some sort of recycling mill. I was outside and there was a fence I tried to climb. All of a sudden a truck pulls up and starts dumping waste. I go the other way then another truck comes and dumps waste. Both ways of waste start piling deeper and I wake up as soon as I get buried underneath it. I feel that was a way of saying I'm falling under my own mess and need Christ. In a nutshell (after describing said dream) I think generally that's where those types of dreams are about. Plus, it never hurts to pray after waking up from one. And asking for clarity.

the man right though, everything should be tested with scripture, including you.

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment;
whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council;
and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.

(Matthew 5:22 / ESV)

AT Spurgeons Tabernacle in London , a man said to Spurgeon: " Pastor, pastor , i had a dream last night and The Lord told me i am to preach here next Sunday. "

Spurgeon , consulted his diary and replied ; "Thats interesting because i am booked to preach here next Sunday and The Lord never told me anything different........"

So, with dreams and visions and tongie babbling, we are all to test the spirits to see which is True and which is Antichrist.

1 John 4:1(KJV)

4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
