Nope! The promise is for when we see Christ face to face!

"Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is." 1 John 3:2

"For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known." 1 Cor. 13:12

"And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit." 2 Cor. 3:18

The way salvation works is:

justification -> sanctification -> glorification

Glorification is when we see Jesus face to face - when he returns! That is when we won't be tempted, won't sin and we will be with Christ forever!

It is simple. We have sin in our flesh until we/the spirit man combined with the earthen vessel...do not have sin in the flesh. Yes...we have sin...but we/the eternal we...our spirit soul combo apart from the corruptible flesh are sinless being born again.
Romans 7 clarifies that our identity has nothing to do with the sin in our flesh...if we hate/dissaprove of it .

1 John 3:8-10New King James Version (NKJV)

8*He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9*Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

The Imperative of Love
10*In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

1Co_15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

1Pe 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
1Jn 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1Jn 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
1Jn 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Heb 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
Heb 12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

Neither deceive yourself into thinking you have reached perfection,
nor make excuse for sin by your lack of perfection.

The perfection has not yet come, but will soon.
He has not left us without help, but has left us the Spirit and the power of God to overcome sin.

Do not accept sin as being acceptable.

There are sins that hurt or offends others, but is the intent that counts; if they'd has remorse or make them feel guilty, they has the spirit of God in them, that showing them their faults that is making them having the feeling of guilt; but those that love hurting or offending others, doesn't has the spirit of God in them, but they has an evil spirit that is telling them that they are in the right. But not following the old laws isn't considered as a sin no more.

Matthew 5:22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.

Matthew 12:50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

no it's not.. we are not perfect, and will never reach perfection..and we still sin, even after being saved..

1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1Jn 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
1Jn 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
1Jn 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Joh 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
Joh 8:35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
Joh 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Jesus told a man and a woman to "Go and sin no more", Why would Jesus tell them to do something that is impossible to do? He would not do such a thing. Over and over again the Bible plainly teaches that it is possible. It is only this generation that teaches it is not possible, because of their reprobate mind, living in sin, and still think they are going to Heaven. They altogether are NOT willing to give up their sin, they are not willing to give up the sin that so easily besets them, as the Scriptures plainly teach us to do. The Scriptures teach Awake to righteousness and sin not. Over and over again it teaches us to STOP sinning, it even plainly tells us that those who who can't cease from sin, are called cursed children. Why? Because they THINK they can't cease from sin. God told me one day. "There is no sin that you do that you can't cease from." So the sin that you do over and over and over again, and repent over and over and over for the same sin. You can indeed cease from, but you choose NOT to cease from it, then make excuses why you don't have to.

Tell me what sin do you do that you can't cease from? The answer is NONE. The question then is WHY are you not ceasing from them, if God allows you the strength and power to do so? Those who willingly commit sin, LOVE to commit that sin. No person willfully chooses to sin if they hate it. Learn to hate sin, and it is easier to overcome it.

You ask can a person become sinless? Even though i HAVE sinned much, therefore i am NOT saying i HAVE no sin, i no longer continue to live in sins. That is to say i do ALL things to please Jesus Christ. Jesus told me "Go and sin no more" and i obey Him.

Who says this, God or satan? "You can continue to live in sin and still go to Heaven" i assure you, it isn't God that teaches that lie.

If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us...John in 1st John chapter 1.......!
The man who was lame, by the pool for 38 years, after Jesus healed Him, told him "Go and sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you" Now lets assume this man went and did not sin any more, because he did not want to be in a worse situation than he was for the last 38 years. Can this man say He has no sin? Not if he has sinned before.

i have sinned much, i have plenty of sin in my life, i am NOT saying i have no sin. i have plenty of sin. Lets say i have not sinned even one time in a whole year. Can i now say "i have no sin"? NOPE, if i did say that, i lie, because i have sinned in the past. People use this verse all the time to EXCUSE their sinning. Anyone who says "i have sin, but i no longer continue to sin" somehow sins, because this generation uses this verse to say they are wrong.

Anyone who claims they have no sin, is a liar and the Truth is not in them. Only Jesus Had no sin. Anyone who claim they have no sin, is a liar. i no longer continue to sin, is NOT saying i have no sin, that is only what this generation uses to not listen to those who teach the Truth against sinning.

Again. i have sinned, but i no longer continue to live in sin. i have done even as that man and that woman have done, when Jesus Plainly told them, with no interpretation needed to "Go and sin no more"

dcontroversal your big on the referencing the Hebrew and Greek, could you tell us all what the Hebrew and Greek of those two verses where Jesus is quoted as saying and teaching "Go and sin no more" What does the Hebrew and Greek say about those verses? Even in Hebrew and Greek, they mean "Go and sin no more"

What about the verse "Awake to righteousness and sin not" what does the Hebrew and Greek say about that? The exact same thing it says.

All things are possible to them that KNOW God.
