Lamentations 3:22-24
22The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;[SUP]b[/SUP]
his mercies never come to an end;
23they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.”

A great series of hymns, the one above just a great, old favorite. It's refreshing to hear a chorus, no twanging electric guitars, etc. There's a primitive Baptist church on the radio Sundays that has a choir like these you posted, amazing what they do without any instruments. Thank you for the nice spiritual respite, brother!

Psalms 69:30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

Amen brother JesusIsAll,
i have been listening to this kind of music while working (in between driving to jobs) for the last couple of weeks. Our daughter (Samantha Elizabeth) is due in early July so been busy working a lot lately.

Listening to these good old hymns really helps with the stress and brings to heart,mind,and soul the necessity of staying close to Father,Son and Holy Spirit through prayer and song. if you have the station of that Baptist church who plays the hymns on Sunday i'd really like to check it out. :)

It's called the Baptist Bible Hour, though a half hour program. It's not a program that just plays hymns, rather like a small church service, usually singing, then sermon. There are no instruments, just voice, and the choir is phenomenal, very balanced and polished. It's just a low wattage station where I live, but you can look into wherever you are. They are also online, so you can listen online. Here's the link:

Not every program may have the singing to begin, I suppose depending on the length of the message to fit the airtime. Usually some music, but not always. Here are a couple recent programs, that begin with the choir:

I listen, in the main, for the good Bible-centric message, not just the music, but their choir is quite talented. Enjoy! Also, the Lord's blessings on you and yours, especially Samantha Elizabeth!

John 16:13-15
13When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. 14He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. 15All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

Isaiah 6:1-4
1In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train[SUP]a[/SUP] of his robe filled the temple. 2Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3And one called to another and said:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
the whole earth is full of his glory!”[SUP]b[/SUP]
4And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.

Isaiah 40:28-31
28Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.
29He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.
30Even youths shall faint and be weary,
and young men shall fall exhausted;
31but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.

Psalm 62:5-8
5For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
for my hope is from him.
6He only is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
7On God rests my salvation and my glory;
my mighty rock, my refuge is God.
8Trust in him at all times, O people;
pour out your heart before him;
God is a refuge for us. Selah

Philippians 2:9-11
9Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Psalm 9:1,2
1I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.
2I will be glad and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

Psalm 95:1-5

1Oh come, let us sing to the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
2Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
3For the Lord is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.
4In his hand are the depths of the earth;
the heights of the mountains are his also.
5The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land.
