1 Corinthians chapter 13 the love chapter is a very important Christian responsibility. you can have all faith and know all mysteries and have all knowledge and speak in tongues but have no love in your heart then all is worthless and benefits you nothing. IF you give to the poor and do not LOVE it is nothing. LOVE is the most important trait in all of life, GOD is pure LOVE.

Yes a very important chapter as our faith in Christ hangs on love.
No love for others shows that a person is not a true born again believer in Christ, and that love is to be shown in actions, deeds, speech, and works. Criticizing, name calling, belittling, and demeaning of others in speech is not love. We are called to love, pray, and do good to even our enemies and those who persecute us. Persecuting which is another strong word, because it is another one of those that does not have to been in the physical sense. As people can be persecuted verbally.

You could have said all that needed to be said without the bolded.......sounds like you really don't practice what you preach Kenneth.......to forgive, let love cover a multitude of sin, take the reviling etc........

Lets not turn this into a debate just because you do not like all that I wrote, as I was responding to the subject of this thread. Faith hinges on love, which is what the thread is about.
Love in a Christians life, as the bible makes it clear no love in how one treats another rather in actions or words shows that Christ does not abide in them.

Who are you referring this to and why are you mentioning this. If you have a problem with someone private message them. I'm sick of people who ruin a good thread! we don't want to see people arguing on this forum. Its not high school.

My point stands...no need to have added what you added as you seem to make stabs at the people who disagree with you all of the time in your posts, in third person, directly and or indirectly.........

I will add that faith, hope and love are ALL spiritual gifts and faith comes before LOVE so faith does not hinge on love....

It was not to be directed at anybody personally.
It is just an expounding on what the bible says about our faith and how it hinges on love, and how the bible clearly shows that those things are not done in love by are by the flesh. There are some that take offense to this even though I did not call somebody out personally, and that would be the conviction of the Holy Spirit pulling at them if they do feel personally attacked when not even called out on it. I have called a couple out for doing this in the past though, and things did not change nor did I ever get an apology.

Faith in Christ hinges and is dependant on love...........

Again.....thank you Godskidisfree for this post idea. I believe the man began the post....with intentions, of members posting how MUCH they love, not someone judging WHO loves more. Thank you DC....you thanked godskidisfree for a womdetful idea for a post! That was kind....no one wants to feel like we don't love as much as Joe down the road does I'm this post! I don't think debates is what godskidisfree intended
There is no disagreement im love! You love people or you don't. Let us share how MUCH here. God Bless Us All

1 John 2:5
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 4:8
The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Ella85's signature has a lot to say as well.....

18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

19 We love because he first loved us.
