I also, will whisper if Im in a room or around people and can feel or the enemy is whispering those stupid lies to me and I will whisper outloud, "I rebuke you Satan In Jesus name Devil leave me alone". :)
I have done that too on multiple occasions because I couldn't state it aloud. I think the last time was when I was taking a test and my brain was not working and I rebuked the enemy's hand. I ended up getting a 100% on that exam.

While I believe we should not be ignorant of the devil's devices, I think our focus should be primarily on God (and glorifying Him) and not the devil (or worrying if he is under every rock or tree). God is our Savior and protector if we trust in Him and if we put on the whole armor of God. So I believe we should focus on loving God with all our hearts, minds, and souls and in loving all people (Including our enemies) according to His Word.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

(Philippians 4:8).

I posted this in Misc room, but then I thought it might be best to bring it to this one.

Do you think or believe that the enemy can read our mind and thoughts?
Yes, I think Satan can get into our minds and tempt us while he's there. All we have to do is ignore his temptations. (Not always as easy as we'd like it to be, huh?)

This is so true in so much of our thinking and bickering right here on this forum.

I actually kinda disagree with you. The Bible talks plenty of Satan deceiving the people in the Bible and even Jesus himself went down on purpose to be tempted and I know it was to show us what we need to do and how we need act and say. It also shows us what Satan will tell us and try to convince us. Yes, we should focus on God and have our eyes on God, but we need to be aware. We need to watch and be aware of the spiritual warfare around us. For even Satan will use scripture on us.

when Peter took His eyes off of Christ He sank in the water. But, He cried Lord help me and the Jesus pulled him back on top of the water and they walked on the water back to the boat.

Well, as I said before, I did say we shouldn't be ignorant of his devices, but we should not constantly fill our life with worrying about the devil, but we should focus on God and His good ways. Focusing in on the devil too much gives him the glory and not God. Yes, we are in a spiritual warefare where our weapons are not carnal. Yes, we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principilaties and powers (demons). However, to help you to understand where I am coming from better, I will quote what someone else has said,

"Satan's main goal is to turn us away from God -- and when we focus too much on the devil, then we won't focus on God the way we should. Yes, the devil is real, and so are his demons (evil spiritual beings who carry out his commands). But God is also real -- and He alone is all-powerful. And someday He will defeat Satan ... forever.

Instead, focus your attention on Jesus Christ. The Bible says, "The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work" (1 John 3:8). How did He do this? He did it by His death on the cross for us (which won our salvation) and by His resurrection from the dead (which conquered death and Hell). Satan is a defeated foe!"

So make Christ the center and focus of your life, for He alone deserves all the glory, honor, power, and praise!

For the Bible is not primarily written about the enemy but it is primarily written about God and our relationship to Him. One day sin, pain, suffering, death, and all evil will be no more. So lets set our minds on things above. Let's glorify Jesus and write in such a way that talks more about Him.

I don't believe he can read our minds but he hears what we speak. If we speak contrary to the Word he will act on that, or if we say what we are afraid of for example

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue"... and this may very well be why.
