I think something else Satan likes to do is use people to do his dirty work. For instance, if he can tempt me into acting unethically, he might then tempt me into tempting YOU to act unethically. Not only do you have to watch out for Satan, you also have to watch out for anybody who is under the influence of Satan.

I was reading a one of Spurgeon's sermons the other week and he said your more likely to sin if you imitate someone respectable wearing a business suit and who follows the ten commandments and is really nice but does something minor. He calls them one of Satan's servants. They get you to disobey God a little and then allot. I think there are many ministers who compromise, ministers and compromise are not to go together period.

We are God's hands and feet, God told Adam " I will give you dominion over the beasts of the Earth" and " replenish the Earth" Satan has no authority in the Earth except through men who submit to him. Some of his most valued servants behave very Christian and do all kinds of good things and use the name of Jesus and suck others down with them. They are Satan's hands and feet.

It seems to me that church leaders frequently give in to the temptation of pridefulness, and they cause great destruction in their churches.

When King Saul found out that the priests had helped David, he ordered his men to kill the priests. The Israelites would not, but there was a pagan mercenary who was willing to do it. King Saul thought he wouldn't be judged for it, but he was. Sometimes, we are worse than Satan at finding someone else to do our dirty work. (And then there was Saul, holding the coats of those who were stoning Stephen.
