Last year I heard a voice tell me that faith was my servant.
I got excited at first, then pasted it off as not of or from God.
Then a few months back I heard it again, and was told to look at a certain parable. Which I promptly did.
Then as I was looking at the front of my Copeland bible, which is a KJB, and I came across a topic that read, "Faith, the servant of the believer."
So I started seeking God on the subject, and was given many verses that proved to me that what I heard was from God.
What I found was that both the word of God and faith are minister and servant to us.
Keep in mind that Jesus IS the word of God.
Mar 10:43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
Mar 10:44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.
Mar 10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Jesus is the greatest and chiefest of us all, is He not? Therefore, according to His word, minister and servant of us all.
1Co 14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
To be subject to, means, to obey. Even as the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets, so the spirit of faith that is given to the believer subject to them.
So this is the short of it, with only two verses to back what basically says faith and the word of God are our servants and ministers, but what say you?
