My question for you is ARE YOU BORN AGAIN? really Truthfully? from On High Regenerated by the Spirit of Truth? mmmmmmmmmmm ---------> the Word of God tells us John was filled with the Holy Ghost from the womb.... so somebody that is filled with the Holy Ghost from the Womb, why would they need to be 'born again'? Jeremiah also was the same way.. mmmmmm my question. are you Truly born Again from on High? ? ?

That would be news to John ...

John 1, NASB
29 The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the word!"

Where the Sam Hill did you get the corrupt idea he didn't "recognize" Him?

But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. For he shall be great in the sight o the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. Luke 1: 13-15

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: or he was before me. And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. John 1:29-31 . . . . And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! John 1:36

John KNEW of Jesus from OT scripture as coming to be manifested to Israel as the Lamb of God but he did not KNOW him as in having previously MET him.

John the Baptist, LOST HIS SALVATION? ------> you people crack me up!!!! don't you believe the God who filled John with the Holy Spirit from the Womb He wasnt able to 'KEEP' John in the Truth, from his youth to the time he was manifested to Israel as the Preparer of the Way? ?? OF COURSE HE WAS ABLE... so many hold out a man made gospel. that requires 'man' to keep himself/herself, in order to 'keep oneself saved'.. smh.... a works salvation, based and grounded in man. smh.. listen to what the Word tells us about John when he was growing up until the Time he was manifested to Israel------->

And the Child Grew, and Waxed Strong in Spirit, and was in the Deserts till the day of his Shewing unto Israel.------> Luke 1

*does this sound like a boy growing into a man who is running around the Deserts, wondering if he is saved or not? losing his salvation Friday only to get it back Monday but lose it again Tuesday but regain it back on Friday? lolz.. you see the problem with a man made gospel and salvation based on 'man's abilities'? IT DOESNT FIT. .sorry.. John never questioned or lost his salvation or the Holy Ghost that was in him from the Womb.. get off the man made gospel and into Truth!

One Waxing STrong In the Spirit is not ONE QUESTIONING whether He/she is really saved or still saved!

on second thoughts, it seems, he was not a Christian or as accurate or immaculate as some would have us believe " for he that is least in the Kingdom[i.e. a Christian] is greater than he"[Matt.11:11 - wincam

Posting this as evidence of your nonsensical theory that John didn't recognize Jesus is clear indication you don't know or understand Scripture.

correct. this, that, and a lot of his/her/its posts indicate a complete and clear lack of understanding - whether seeking truth or not is hard to tell..... or is it?

he may be at home alone with no one to talk to... if so, let him say so and ask questions and learn the truth from SCRIPTURE accurately. a lot of posters are lonely, and the people or resources that they grew up trusting or later were tricked into trusting have completely fooled them. finding or getting truth is difficult, and if people don't want the truth, they won't recognize it. (there's even more conditions than that, but a lot of people don't even want the truth (rcc heresy addicts are the most common example by far in the world) . ) .

(everything has to be tested, over and over and over again, by SCRIPTURE and always in PRAYER constantly) --- don't take for credit or faith or granted that something a 'group' that is providing information of any kind is correct - over 90% of the time everything and every kind of information provided IS IN ERROR.... even from churches....

and usually for money or power....

that's correct, a new one for you.

you have said so by your posts. without meaning to, without understanding, your posts show a lot of loneliness and error (almost certainly from another source, not original from you) .

(very common here, btw, lonliness at least is not a sin, per se;

the errors might not be sin either, just errors).

yochanan the immerser would tell 'christians' the same thing he told everyone else....

mark 1:4 cjb - So it was that yochanan the immerser - bible gateway

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark+1:4...‎

So it was that yochanan the immerser appeared in the desert, proclaiming an
immersion involving turning to yahweh from sin in order to be forgiven.
Pray tell, what is the Complete Jewish Bible? Is it an accurate translation of the KJV? Or rather, is it a translation or an interpretation? I guess I'm concerned about whether or not it's segregating Jews from Gentiles. If so, that suggests division.

John the Baptist was the last of the Old Testament prophets. He was martyred before Jesus was crucified and resurrected, so he was not a Christian. He like all Old Testament saints believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness. Just like Christians, all who were saved before Christ were saved by the grace of God through faith. God is the same yesterday, today and forever.
