14. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15. For that which I do I know not: for not what I would, that do I practise; but what I hate, that I do. 16. But if what I would not, that I do, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17. So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwelleth in me. 18. For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me, but to do that which is good is not. 19. For the good which I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I practise. 20. But if what I would not, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwelleth in me. 21. I find then the law, that, to me who would do good, evil is present. 22. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23. but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. 24. Wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me out of the body of this death? 25. I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then I of myself with the mind, indeed, serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. (Romans 7:14-25)

What our dear brother Paulos, writes here is, that his body, or his flesh is still prone to do sin, even though his mind is works now different, because now the mind what he have is a mind of the Spirit, and not mind of the flesh anymore, but the flesh still is prone to rise up lust, and temptations, which he do not anymore join, like the time when he have the mind of flesh.

If man do join in the lust from his body, it is because he have not mortify yet the mind of flesh, so his mind work according to the flesh.

The mind of flesh is for dead, but mind of the Spirit is for life, and everyone should mortify that mind of flesh, so that you may not join in the lust from you flesh, and do sin.

Yes, it's a treatise on the corruptible nature of the flesh, our very members that war against the Spirit. This harmonizes with being "raised in incorruption" of the new, immortal body, at Christ's appearing, and that 'flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God,"

1 Corinthians 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption... 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Good post, brother!
