God bless you loved ones! I started this thread...because I would love to know, as a Christian...what do you feel inside is your calling in life? When the Holy Spirit guides your heart,...and soul,...tell us your favorite things you love. That leads you to know your calling. I'd be thrilled to know! For this thread gives us all a chance to share with others all our best, beautiful qualities inside. This is not a debate thread, of course. So please share...what do you feel is your calling through The Holy Spirit?
It doesn't matter what you do for employment, even stay at home moms, dads or spouses. We are all beautiful in Christ! We all have a calling. Oh BTW..I picked BDF...because also share scriptures you love dearest. And how do particular scriptures effect your calling in life. What do you feel is the key thing you breathe to love, to do, or share? While we all have,...what time we have? I'd love to know! Thank you! Skylove7

I can already say and know mine! Lol...I'm not breathing to be amazing...astounding,..or not to preach, teach or be wisest of all humans. Lol...my calling is simply to love others strong. To write about God in love. And though...my calling is not amazing. Simply love...is what I am...and the Spirit is OK with me for it. Lol...so what's yours?

This has always summed most everything up,

Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

They are beautiful verses of verses. But very kind? It was all of a copy and paste, and words of Thee, not me. Would everybody were as easy to please!

1 Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Bless your heart.

Well...I'm going to keep my thread here up. Lol...even if there are crickets chirping in it in a day. Lol..then I shall toot everyone else's horn in it I know. Because I love you. AND...even though we all debate in other forums. When dinner is over at night..and in peace we rest our heads in sleep. We are ALL brothers and sisters going to heaven together...regardless if we disagree with things of the flesh or scripture. In my peace...silent with God I love each and every one of you! Thank you for your kindness to me as well. God bless! Now let the shining within begin! Lol...who's next in Christ to share your best qualities? :)

I'm living out my calling. God has blessed me with the ability to provide people with comfort, peace and reassurance regarding His love and saving grace in His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. :)

At work, political correctness gets in my way of sharing God's Word sometimes, but being the rebel that I am, I wear my faith in Jesus on my sleeve for all to see, so I'm proclaiming victory in Him regardless. :cool:

Evangelist..I have an urgency in my spirit to tell everyone "Jesus is coming". Be a witness and spread the gospel. It's an unsettling feeling if I'm not...

I was a toddler, so it was over twenty years ago and I was sitting in church and a missionary that was visiting the church came up to me and not even speaking English told me with the help of a translator that my calling was to teach children. I have used this calling for five years and now God is allowing me to focus more on trusting in who he is and what he will do. So, I just believe God is taking me in a different direction all while teaching me something.

To reassure and encourage. I would love to become a counselor but as things stand I am unqualified to do so on a professional level, however age and common sense enables me to council others when required as I go about my daily routine.

His calling for me, is trying to understand what He is trying to tell and teach the world about Him.
His ways, His mysteries and His love for all who truly seek Him, ........simply, through the words of the Bible.

Share and learn a solid gem or two with others along the way.

That knowledge will probably take my lifetime to obtain, and even then I'll probably will only know a fraction of it all, Sky.
I'll let you know how it all went in Heaven. :)

Called to be a saint , ahem...

Romans 1:7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Called as a pleb...

1 Corinthians 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

Called unto his grace...

Galatians 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

Called into a certain hope...

Ephesians 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Called to bear the fruit of the Spirit...

Colossians 3:12-15
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Called to His kingdom and glory. ..

1 Thessalonians 2:12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

Called to be Holy. ..

1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

Called to praise Him...

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Called to suffer...

1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Well that'll keep one busy for awhile.

In my early twenties, I really felt like God called me to write a book about my testimony. During this whole process, He has placed so many people in my life to get me ready to write a book. I have met people in the strangest situations that are actual Christian book authors. Some turned out to be my dear friends. Also during this time, God has put the desire in my heart to blog about my struggles and write in journals of my emotions and my lessons, so when its time, I can look back and remember how I felt and what I struggled with. I have no idea when God is going to have me sit down and have me write. I know He is still writing the story that will be placed in this book.

Because of this, during this time in my life of these years of waiting to write, I have became more outspoken and more encouraged to help others. I feel comfortable bringing up struggles of my life, because I want to help others and I want them to feel comfortable talking to me about theirs. Im still working out my approach, because for some reason some people think Im coming across judgmental, but Im more sharing with them what I have learned. Im still a work in process, but I pray that God will help me, but more importantly I want to be the woman and servant God wants me to do be.

If Jesus truly is coming! Fear not....even if I die in pain? I will die in glory...because..once after my death of mortal flesh! :) its over...the devil loses all botheings to my earthly life! :) Do not fear flesh is a brief death...but life is eternal in Christ! So its worth mortal pain to me....in the devils crap...to never cease to breathe joy eternal! Be brave in all this....Glory is the gift! One inherits from good soul :)
