simple, from God's Word; everyone is born consigned under sin. a death penalty on all.

except yahshua hamashiach - jesus the messiah moses wrote concerning so all may have hope in him- all who love yahweh and are called according to yahweh's purpose.

"Thou shalt not be born"...hmm, haven't found that one yet.
We are born in sin though.

isn't sin an act of disobedience to God? I don't see how being born is a sin.
It does however taint us with sin from the world (like in the OT you had to cleanse yourself after becoming unclean).

Maybe....In sin I was conceived and in sin I came forth from my mother's womb.......

and to address the statement about Jesus......Jesus' death was consigned before the casting down of the world for the sins of humanity!

it is written that we all are born dead in trespasses and sin. everyone starts consigned to sin - Jews and gentiles, all.

someone (there's several here the last 20 years visiting this forum)
who lives a good life raised in any church
is in the same danger and under the same penalty as someone born in communist china - death sentence
because all flesh is consigned under sin, with a death penalty. all mankind. according to scripture.

An infant born into this world doesn't know anything. That's why the baby is immediately dependent on the mother. If being born is a sin, then every single baby that only lasted a few days before dying due to complications shouldn't be in Heaven, then. Because if being born is a sin, the babies never repented from them.

I understand that when a baby is born in a Jewish community..local family and friends have what seems like a 'mock' funeral scenario..mourning, crying and such as to recognize the future trials and sufferings that child will go through as it grows. However, when that child grows up and dies, then a real celebration/party is given because they recognize that they are now with GOD, their Creator and all of our tragedies are over and they are at rest.

amen. here's the closest to 'not be born' I've seen >
"Ecclesiastes 4-6,Proverbs 18:1-12 NIV - Oppression, Toil ...
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ecclesiastes...

[SUP]2[/SUP] And I declared that the dead, who had already died, are happier than the living,
who are still alive. [SUP]3[/SUP] But better than both is the one who has never been born,
..."

(for most of the world's population, it would be better if they had never been born. but everyone has
a chance to be redeemed and makes their own choice along with yahweh's choice in his grace.)

Psalm 127:3-5
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Well, except for you Phil... lol (just joking)

If being born is a sin, maybe we should abort every baby so they won't sin :p

No. Being born is not a sin. If this is true then death must be a release from sin.

Being born is a gift.
Full of surprises.

Sadly, Many live in sin though.
A gift that is wasted.

Hope you're okay, Phil.
Sorry to hear about what you're going through, brother.

death isn't just a release, it is the penalty, the price of sin for each person. each one either dies for their sin, or someone pays the price for them. (hint: there's only one who could pay the price , guess who !?)

Phil, I know you are going through a rough time right now. God will never leave you no matter what. I am feeling really light-headed right now and so I was listening to some Christian music to help comfort me and this song comforted me and made me feel at ease. Please take a listen.
