Jehovah is the name of God I believe. The , mangled english version of Yahweh, Yahweh is probably closest to how the unpronouncable name of God would sound.

Jehovah's Witnesses have built an entire heretical church on this mangled term for God.

One of my favourite things to do : trip JW's up over the proper name of God.... aka "shouldn't you be called Yahweh's Witnesses" ?
