IF YOUR EYE BE SINGLE........

As you already know, there are some very strange Scriptures in The Gospels that you have probably read many times and just don't know what the LORD is trying to say to you........Like this one in particular...

THE LIGHT OF THE BODY IS THE EYE, IF THEREFORE THE THINE EYE BE SINGLE YOUR WHOLE BODY WILL BE FULL OF LIGHT......BUT IF THY EYE BE EVIL THY WHOLE BODY SHALL BE FULL OF DARKNESS....... MATTHEW 6 : 22+23

First of all, there are a few different aspects of Truth to this Scripture and the first one in this case has to do with LIFE AND DEATH............One key to remember about certain words in Scripture is this:

Certain words are references to other things or meanings............like LIGHT CAN BE SHEKINAH GLORY OF GOD, OR IT COULD ALSO MEAN TRUTH........OR IT COULD ALSO MEAN LIFE ITSELF.....

Eye can mean physical eyes, the EYES OF YOUR SPIRIT........OR SEEING THE TRUTH IN A SITUATION, OR UNDERSTANDING / MEANING.....

What I would like to talk about here is the reality of LIGHT VS. DARKNESS.............OR THE REALITY OF LIFE AND DEATH........

Remember JESUS was always pointing towards the future, prophetically, because HE WAS HERE TO FULFILL THE LAW, BECAUSE WE COULD NOT, NOR COULD ISRAEL........So in the future of HIS time, the HOLY SPIRIT would be poured out upon man again, as it was in the Beginning, when GOD BREATHED HIS SPIRIT INTO ADAM.......Remember we are to be BORN FROM ABOVE.....JOHN 3

So once you are born again we are to keep OUR EYE (single) upon HIM.....THAT'S IT. Just read the passages that occur just before MATTHEW 6 : 22 .........JESUS IS TALKING TO THOSE AROUND HIM ABOUT STORING, OR SECURING FOR OURSELVES TREASURE IN HEAVEN WHERE NOTHING CAN INTERFERE WITH IT......

So, as I mentioned in my other thread about WORSHIPPING IN HEAVEN ? This is the revelation for those, again, to be enabled to do so.......FOCUS ON GOD, NOT ON ANY SITUATION HERE.....

IF YOU BELIEVE THAT GOD TELLS THE TRUTH, AND THAT HE IS ALL KNOWING, WELL WHY NOT JUST FOCUS ON HIM FULLY, DEVELOP A REGULAR PRACTICE OF THIS, BECAUSE HE WILL THEN DIRECT YOUR PATHS...........BECAUSE YOU EYE IS SINGLE........YOUR WHOLE BODY WILL BE FILLED WITH LIGHT...........WHY ? BECAUSE YOU SEE HIM AS HE IS................IN ALL OF HIS GLORY...........
