Doubt is merely questioning. It's not a sin.

Doubt opens the door to learning. We cannot just blindly accept whatever we're told. We were given a mind and the ability to reason in order to use them.

It is good to question what we are taught, but it is not good to question whether or not the Lord loves us or his ability to take care of us.

It's good to question ALL things. How are we to learn and experience how much He loves us and takes care of us if we don't question?

Why not? Doubt is simply questioning, and we learn through questioning things.
The Lord loves you and can take care of you. That is the truth. What does it benefit you to believe things that are not true? Do you believe this:

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 RSV

Satan works through everything that requires using a bit of thought, doesn't he? *sigh* It's no wonder Satan is so powerful among Christians. They see him in every sneeze.

Jesus immediately reached out his hand and caught him, saying to him, "O man of little faith, why did you doubt?" Matthew 14:31 RSV

Did Peter get punished, or did he see the power of Yeshua?

Satan runs rampant, perhaps, where there is no courage. Is it possible that courage and faith are the same thing?

Meanwhile, who is Yeshua?

Yeshua is Jesus.

Satan runs rampant where you allow him to run rampant. He has only the power you give him, and the way you and loveschild talk, he CERTAINLY runs rampant with you. But for me, he's just an impotent, cowardly whiner who got his pigu kicked by G-d and is nothing but an inferior slave to G-d, so he runs NOWHERE except where G-d allows him to.

Jesus taught us to be humble. I suspect there is a good reason for that.

Yes, I agree, doubt can be a platform for Satan to work on....and no, questioning is not doubt for we are to test the spirits to see if they are from God.

Doubt = questioning. Doubt is one of those words that is very, VERY misused.
