Do we only talk to God because we want an Xbox?

The Time has come, right here right now! its time, we have waited long enough, do we want a watered down God or do we want the real being Himself? People listen to me when i say this, this is not an average post this has become something more than that to me, it has become my mission and my battle cry a passion and a unction that God has given me to tell all of yall.

Its time to come back to the ways of God. When i say that i don't mean lets all have a nice little church worship service where we sing a few watered down feel good songs and we think God is there, no its time for you and I to seek Him, to seek His face like never before, why you ask? whats the point i am saved i know i am going to heaven. You sure bout that? Not everyone that says LORD, LORD will enter the kingdom hmmm i wonder who said that... I believe it was Jesus. what did he Mean when He said that? its scary to think huh He meant this, those people who say they love me but they don't keep my commandments, Jesus said if you love me you will keep my commandments, then we say I keep His commandments! Do you now? Think again.

I wonder how much do we love Him, we say we do but do we? how many times have you prayed to HIM not to ask for something but to just talk with HIM to say HI? hmm is he just a GOD we only talk to because we want a Xbox? or do we talk to Him because we love Him and we want to be with Him. See if we really loved God we would tell Him everyday every moment and chance we get, we should hunger Him with a passion in our Heart but what do we do? Do we really want Him? Or do we really want His stuff?

Its time to quit playing church and quit playing fake Christian because its sad many that of my friends don't understand what it really means to "LOVE GOD" but I am going to try to show them and you better to! Unless you need to know what it means to. Just fall in love with Him yall and talk to Him please! You'll be glad you did. Seek HIM! and do His will for you in your life and do it with a passion!

Wonderful words of wisdom. God had to ask me a few yrs back " Why do you serve me" ? ...Is it for what i can do or who I AM ? We must remember when things are going well or things are awful and life seems to be fallin apart ..no matter what .. Hes Still God ! Its not about us anyway , Its all about Him. I agree we better get real and honest with ourselves, search our own hearts and ask..Why do i serve Him..think about it

Exactly, it's not about us. He made us for His glory. It's all about Him.
Whatever we do, wherever we are, God will always be God. The One true God we serve because He is a God, we were made to serve Him. to Glorify Him. to Honor Him and bring Him praise.

Amen! It was never about me, my purpose is to give glory and honor and praise to The One who created me!
