praise!!!!!

I cant remember the chapter a verse but when I saw this scripture I loved it!

Let us offer unto God a sacrifice of praise!

The main reason I loved it was because God Our Father gives us everything, even that which we give to him, ie tithes, gifts of food to others, ect.
The sacrifice of praise comes from the heart, and even though he gave me all that I am , this is a gift that I believe is the closest I can come to giving of myself to God.

There are so many good reasons to praise, also so many ways that praise can bless and help you.
When one feels under attack by satan, one of the best weapons is to praise Our Lord Jesus.
Wether in word or song, it works extreamly well and quickly.

So how does praise or what does praise do in your walk with Jesus?

Sometimes, when I hear a christian song, or I'm just thinking about how wonderful Jesus is, I can't help but to smile and just yell GOD YOU ARE AWESOME! I thinking praising him makes me remember that I am His creation and He is my Lord and I have so much to be thankful for. I'm not some freak accident of nature. I'm not some science gone wrong (or right...or whatever). No, I was created by a God who loves me so much, that He would give me a place in His kingdom as His child and all I have to do is serve Him. When I praise, it feels amazing because it's what I was designed spiritually to do. My body has a purpose physically, to move, to interact. My mind has the purpose to think and reason. And my spirit has a purpose, to follow and praise God!
