Jesus is God.

John 14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on me,
the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he do;
because I go unto my Father.

God came down from Heaven
and became a man.

And did the works of God.

God said to his children, whoever believed upon Him...

would not only do the same works as God
but when God went back to heaven we would do
even greater works than God.

We, the children of God, who believe upon God,
will do even greater works than God.

That is the Word of God.

When the bible is talking about the disciples doing 'greater works'.. this isn't saying they are going to more powerful things.. but that because of the spread of christianity that was about to happen through God establishing His churches.. there would be more of a greater affect. Widespread.

That's how I thought this reference is to be.

Not a reference to signs and wonders or greater powers but the spread of God's churches.

Jesus Christ and the children God hath given him
were for signs and wonders in Israel

Isaiah 8:18 Behold,
I and the children whom the LORD hath given me
are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts,
which dwelleth in mount Zion.

That was speaking of Jesus,
and those whom the LORD hath given him

John 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you,
that no man can come unto me,
except it were given unto him of my Father.

Children
by Christ (unto the Father)

Ephes 1:5 Having predestinated us
unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself,
according to the good pleasure of his will,

These being in Christ's stead (I and the children)

Ephes 2:10 For we are his workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works,

which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

These were for signs in Isreal

Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me
are for signs and for wonders in Israel

Behold, I...
("The I" Of Isaiah 8:18....here) ...miracles wonders and signs....

Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth,
a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs,
which God did by him in the midst of you,

as ye yourselves also know:

As Jesus said,

John 10:37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

And also said,

John 14:12...and greater works than these shall he do;
because I go unto
my Fathe
r.

Behold, I and the children ...
("The children" Of Isaiah 8:18 ...here)

Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, (John 7:23, Gal 1:16)
the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

And again the Apostle of and high priest of our profession Heb 3:1 said,

John 14:12...and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

And amongst the apostles Paul said (as an apostle)

2 Cr 12:12 Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience,
in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.
(even as Christ noted as Apostle also in Heb 3:1)

Following the same course as Christ Jesus who was anointed with the Holy Ghost did the following

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (Acts 2:22)

Likewise through Paul (as through Peter) anointed by the Holy Ghost it says...

Acts 19:11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

Acts 19:12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

Jesus again said,

John 10:37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

John 10:38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

And Christ was also set for a sign to be spoken against as well

Luke 2:34
And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

Which he was going to be spoken against in those who preached Him.

Acts 28:22 But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against. (Acts 13:45, 1 Peter 4:14)

Matthew 16:24
Then said God unto his disciples,
If any man will come after me,
let him deny himself, and take up his cross,
and follow me.

John Chapter 20
21 Then said God to them again,
Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me,
even so send I you.

22 And when God had said this,
God breathed on them, and saith unto them,
Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

23 Whose soever sins ye remit,
they are remitted unto them;
and whose soever sins ye retain,
they are retained.

His word is Jack Hammer and He is a MiracleMan
What was I thinking when I said Jack hammer? That is not how the verse goes

Jerm 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

I need to pay closer attention, and I should have put a space between Miracle and Man too

I was just thinking of that one this morning, and how Noah (fearing things they were yet unseen) moved with fear to the preparing of the ark saving his house

Exodus 9:20 He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:

Exodus 9:21And he that regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field.

Are you going to die on a Cross and pay for the sins of the WHOLE world?
oh my, Jesus said deny yourself pick up your cross and follow him. where do you think you are taking the cross when you follow him? how bout, those that are led by the Spirit to put to death the sins of the flesh become adopted children of God and coheirs with Christ. do some read the words of the bible while others experience them? take on the mind of Christ..serve the blood of Christ..make of yourself a living sacrifice..... hmmm...those crucified with Christ...predestined to be conformed to the image of Christ... the works i do he also will do...

that which is revealed by the Spirit is foolishness to those without. declare yourself guilty, deserving of punishment, while proclaiming the innocence of Jesus, be remembered. as the thief next to Jesus did,while being crucified. how did Jesus reward that guy?

are you going to die on a cross and pay for the sins of the whole world? that's already been done, would you rather try to be a part of that payment? or would you excuse your sins in the blood of an innocent. testa-ment indeed. does Jesus need us to do anything ? prolly not, but are you compassionate enough to at least make the offer?

Luke Chapter 20

41 And God said unto them,
How say they that Christ is David's son?

42 And David himself saith in the book of Psalms,
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

43 Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

44 David therefore calleth him Lord,
how is he then his son?
Of David there...

Acts 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

Acts 2:31He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

Acst 2:32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

Acst 13:33
God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

Romans 1:4
And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Acst 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

1 Ti 6:16 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Rev 19:14And the armies [which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Rev 19:15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Rev 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Psalm 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

english is not very good for knowing yahweh's word. revelation is needed.

"listen" is valid, and used twice, while 'obey' is only translated once in the verse
https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/en/Exodus 9:20

Noah wasn't afraid. I am not afraid of the destruction coming to the united states soon.

Yahweh is our shelter. Daniel was not afraid of the lion's den. shadrack, meshak and abednego were not afraid of the furnace. we trust yahweh , by grace freely given in yahshua.

perfect love casts our fear out, as yahshua is in union in us who are in him.

perfect love is completely unknown by mwc, reb, and others unnamed for lack of time and space
oh,
perfect love is offered, as no greater gift than yahshua hamashiach could ever be comprehended,
but the rcc heresy and other heresies prevent those who trust other things from
knowing perfect love. as they trust other things, and lies, they are afraid, because they don't know the truth,
and their sin is still in them, and their 'conscience', or other part of them, 'knows' the judgment that is coming that will destroy them because they are not clean.

they can be clean, same as anyone else called by Yahweh, if He chooses them. He gives His conditions for and description of all those He chooses IN HIS WORD - all HIS CHILDREN, HIS SHEEP, listen to HIM and KNOW (by revelation, a sheer gift from HIM in YAHSHUA).....

they can be made clean, but don't want to be (so far), for whatever reason.

so they are afraid; unforgiven; rebellious....

and Yahweh sends out to bring in others WHO WILL, who are willing, TO LISTEN,
and brings them to HIS BANQUET, just because THEY LISTEN, and come when HE CALLS;

while those others won't go, nor come, nor listen when HE speaks (just as it is written in HIS WORD)...

the revelation is for those who listen. the punishment/wrath for those who don't.

I was just thinking of that one this morning, and how Noah (fearing things they were yet unseen) moved with fear to the preparing of the ark saving his house
