To be fair, I think he's confused on terminology. For example, how can one believe that Jesus is their Messiah and Saviour when they proclaim themselves to be (Judean/Judaic? I don't know the noun...)? Whether he is truly saved or not is not for us to know or say anyway.

So, I'm sorry if I sound judgmental, Nuhen.
Nah, it's no trouble. You don't sound judgmental. If I may, I'm not confused and it has nothing to do with not wanting to be labeled a Christian. I'm Jewish simply because I follow the religion of Judaism. I am not a Christian because I do not follow the religion of Christianity.

Actually, that's a common misconception. As a religion, Judaism doesn't make any statements on Yeshua. In fact, even among Jews the opinion of who Yeshua was is varied. Some believe he was the messiah, as I do, some believe he was a false prophet, and still others believe he was a good Rabbi/prophet but not the messiah.
...you're definitely wrong about that.

He is confused. He believes that Jesus is his Saviour & Messiah but he doesn't want to be labeled as a Christian.
But he does not believe that Jesus is God. Only that (if I am expressing this correctly) that Jesus was the result of God's expression (Word) going forth from God. When Nuhen reads John 1:1 he says that the Word was once God, but ceased to be so when it went out from God. He also believes that Paul's writings are not inspired of God and that they contradict the teachings of Jesus.

During my time of active ministry and pastoring a church, I have had the opportunity and privelige to talk to many true messianic Jews. To see their passion for the deeper truths of the Bible. They have their Jewish traditions and holidays that they celebrate and they enjoy the Christian celebrations as well. Their's is a wonderful, joyful and fulfilled life. However, the one thing they have all shared with me is the difficulty they have in witnessing to their non-messianic Jewish brethern.

Bottom line for the rest of us is that we need to be in constant prayer for our Jewish brothers and sisters. Both the saved and the unsaved.

Close enough. I'd just add that I don't believe ALL of Paul's writings contradict Yeshua, because there are parts that agree with him and the rest of Scripture. As for Yeshua himself, he is the result of the Word being made flesh (John 1:14) after the Word had gone out from G-d when G-d spoke creation into being. When the Scriptures say Yeshua is "the image of the invisible G-d" and when he himself says "those who have seen me have seen the Father in me", it's telling the truth - Yeshua is the physical manifestation of the Word of G-d, full of truth and power.

I'm Jewish. I know what I'm talking about.
What a coincidence! So am I. And about 500 other Jews I know. You're Jewish, you should know the old saying, "Wherever two Jews are gathered, you will have three opinions." :p
