God doesn't give His mercy by chance or luck, my friend, but by grace :)

May God's grace be upon us.

†. Prov 28:13 . . He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he
who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion.

Under the terms and conditions of the covenant that Yhvh's people agreed
upon with God; repeat offenders are out of luck.

†. Num 15:30-31 . . But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native-born or
alien, blasphemes the Lord, and that person must be cut off from his
people. Because he has despised the Lord's word and broken His commands,
that person must surely be cut off; his guilt remains on him.

†. Heb 10:26-28 . . If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have
received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a
fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the
enemies of God.

Nope, it's called justice.
"out of luck" is a colloquialism. I thought everybody knew that. Apparently
somebody didn't get the memo.

Judaism's scofflaws are in a bit of a bind.

†. Deut 27:26 . . Cursed be he who will not uphold the terms of this
Teaching and observe them.

That curse is a covenanted curse; viz: it's contractual; which means God is
obligated to fulfill it or He too would fall under a curse for breech of contract;
ergo: the curse is irrevocable.

Note the grammatical tense of the curse. It's present rather than future;
indicating that when a scofflaw goes ahead and does something that he
knows is wrong, he accrues a curse right then and there; rather than later.
And every time after when he goes ahead and does something he knows is
wrong, he accrues additional curses.

As you can well imagine, those curses have the potential to pile up like a
stack of unpaid parking tickets; and hang suspended by a slender thread
over the scofflaw's head like a sword of Damocles.
