For a change from the usual debates, I'd like to ask:

Is there a biblical basis to believe there may be created beings on other planets?

Nope. Nor is there any against it.

Eze 1:4 I saw a windstorm blowing in from the north. Lightning flashed from a huge cloud and lit up the whole sky with a dazzling brightness. The fiery center of the cloud was as shiny as polished metal,
Eze 1:5 and in that center I saw what looked like four living creatures. They were somewhat like humans,
Eze 1:6 except that each one had four faces and four wings.
Eze 1:7 Their legs were straight, but their feet looked like the hoofs of calves and sparkled like bronze.
Eze 1:8 Under each of their wings, these creatures had a human hand.
Eze 1:9 The four creatures were standing back to back with the tips of their wings touching. They moved together in every direction, without turning their bodies.
Eze 1:10 Each creature had the face of a human in front, the face of a lion on the right side, the face of a bull on the left, and the face of an eagle in back.

If you think a "star" can be moved on to "point out" several things... Follow His "stars".

Mat 2:2 and said, "Where is the child born to be king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him."

Mat 2:9 The wise men listened to what the king said and then left. And the star they had seen in the east went on ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.

Mat 2:10 They were thrilled and excited to see the star. A star it was?
Mat 2:11 When the men went into the house and saw the child with Mary, his mother, they knelt down and worshiped him. They took out their gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh and gave them to him.

What about angels?

Do they only have spiritual bodies? God knows! But, as you can read on the Bible, fallen angels (demons) also like to "live" inside earthly bodies:

a) Mar 5:12 So the evil spirits begged Jesus, "Send us into those pigs! Let us go into them." (Animal bodies invaded)

b) Luk 8:30 Jesus asked the man, "What is your name?" He answered, "My name is Lots." He said this because there were 'lots' of demons in him. (Human bodies invaded)

There are more examples but, you can walk by yourself.

I sometimes find myself wondering if there is life out there.

I wonder if there is life out there only God knows. It might have happened before the creation of the world.

I often wonder while I'm staring out at the stars if God has created people looking back at me from billions of light years away and asking God the same question.

I don't believe there's any biblical or scientific evidence for 'life' outside of the planet Earth.

What would be the best word found to describe the spiritual beings He created before human beings?

Gen 6:4 The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them: the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown.

Jesus is our Kinsman-Redeemer. As such He died for those He identified with in coming to earth, human beings.

You can stare at stars?

I live in the city. We have names for the only two stars we can see at night -- Venus and Mars. lol

I miss stars. I haven't seen the WHOA of looking up at the Milky Way in over a decade. Can't do it anymore. So I just keep pretending Venus and Mars are stars.

(Actually, I just liked your picture enough to hope I can post it twice.)

You do get everything but the animals and people on the ark were wiped out, right?

Then if Nephilim is some foreign creature that came to live on Earth, they should have been wiped out too, right?

Okay. Then why did the Israelites fight them later on?

Some might say nephilim were what others consider ancient aliens.

I agree with Tintin. It's my opinion as well that life only exists on earth.

Psalm 115:16 says: "The heavens are the heavens of the Lord, but the earth He has given to the sons of men."

Notice it doesn't say God gave any other planets to men, just the earth.

Instead of distant stars, have you considered beings from another or other dimensions?
Luk 24:39

Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Have you ever asked where Jesus came from with His flesh and bones, and where He went after He left the disciples? Can flesh and bone enter the spirit world.
What about the heart of flesh the bible talks about? Could it be a flesh body attached to your physical body, that is in the other dimension?
What about the sons of God that mated with the daughters of men. Were they spirit beings that somehow took on flesh, or did they come from another dimension?
What about the worlds? Where did they come from? The bible says they were made of things which do not appear. Was the material for the worlds in another dimension, not visible to the naked eye, before it materialized in the natural?

Heb 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

And what is faith?
Isn't it the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen?
Where did the fire and brimstone come from? Was it a perfectly timed and directed asteroid that fell to earth from a distance star that broke apart at the last minute causing the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah? Or is it possible that it came from another dimension, like the worlds that were framed.
What if I were to hold in my hand a thin stick, motionless before you, and ask you if there is a stick in my hand?
You would say, of course there is a stick in your hand, for I can see it.
But what would happen if I were to move that stick back and forth at a high rate of speed? The stick would no longer be visible, but it would still be there in my hand, wouldn't it?
What if you were to bring this to the molecular level? Change the speed of the molecules in which they vibrate. You would no longer be able to see the object. Theoretically, I think, the object would translate to another plane or dimension, and be able to pass through solid objects.

It has only been a few years since the first Planets were found outside our Solar System, since then the number has risen to hundreds. As I understand it there has to be special conditions for one to support earth type life. So far there has only been one found that may meet these conditions. I doubt that the answer as to whether life exists anywhere else will ever be answered due to the vast distances involved, unless we receive a signal from somewhere.

I wouldn't be surprised if God made it so that all life was on earth.

I would be suprised if this was the only place that had life. It would beg the question as to why bother making the rest of the universe of which we can only see a small portion without a telescope.
