Awesome!! I cannot remember conversion formulas any more , (with regard to mathematics, not spiritually) but those the dimensions of the golden ratio? 2.5 by 1.5? Two dimensions?
Three dimensions: Length 2.5 cubits, width 1.5 cubits, height 1.5 cubits.

A cubit was the distance from Aaron's elbow to the tip of his middle finger; which for most purposes translates as 18 inches.

Precious metals are weighed in troy measure. I believe that a pound of gold weighs the same as a pound of anything else; but a Troy ounce is 1 twentieth of a pound, instead of a sixteenth.

[TD]JER.3:15.
And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

16.
And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD,
they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind:
neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.

17.
At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it,
to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

the Ark symbolizes the Throne of God and He indeed manifested Himself on it -
there will be no more need for the Ark, for the Throne will be there...

I'm pretty sure a pound of feathers is lighter.

Any thoughts as to where the Ark of the Covenant is now?
According to the Word of God it is in Heaven.

Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

If it is in the Temple of God in Heaven, it will not be found on Earth.
