1. Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2. Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is. 3. And every one that hath this hope set on him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. (1 John 3:1-3)

So if we truly set our hope to him, we will purify our self, for all kind of wrongness.

The churches of today like to teach, that we do not have to purify our self, and just faith in him is enough, but if we do not live like our Lord, and even share the same values. then how can we believe in him?

It is that, if you make a corrupted fruits, then the whole tree is corrupted, and it is not a planting of God, but a planting of this world.

Make the tree good.

You posted how we are purified, even said that churches today teach that faith in Christ is enough, and you missed it, brother Mikko.

It is Christ Who purifies us when we put our faith in Him.
11 But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) 12 he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, sanctify for the purification of the flesh, 14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God. (from Heb. 9)

19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. (from Heb. 10)

It is that, if you make a corrupted fruits, then the whole tree is corrupted, and it is not a planting of God, but a planting of this world.
We don't 'make' (produce) fruit; we bear Fruit.

Any fruit that we 'make' is of the flesh.

Any Fruit that we bear is of the Spirit, and will be good.

We don't make any tree good.

We are grafted into the Good Tree, Who is Christ, and He makes us good.

By faith, we receive our Life from the Root.

And as He nourishes us, slowly but surely, we begin to bear His Fruit.

Grace and peace to you,

It means a same thing if we purify our self, in a faith of Lord Yeshua, then the Lord also working in us.

If we approach God, then God approach us.

Can't you see that?

It seem that you people's are not willing to even come pure, but just have pointless debate's for every word what is given for true improve.

It is a bad situation what we face here today, if you want to see.

No one is saying, 'dont flee from sin' what the crux of the matter is whether the fleeing is because u are already given eternal life, or whether u are fleeing from sin to gain eternal life.

If it is to gain eternal life, then that is another gospel.

Eternal life is given, not earned. Not merited. Not attained. Ephesians 2:8-9 and John 5:24 among other verses.

How can sinful man attain eternal life? They cannot. Jesus pays the price for our sin when believe in him, receiving eternal life.

So I want to live pure because of what he has done in forgiving me.

Freedom given so I want to give back to the freedom giver. I don't have to, I choose to.

It's about Jesus, not me.
