I was just looking on page 1 today, and counted

12 TWELVE

posts dating back to 2011 and 2010.

People the OP"s of those posts are likely gone and most of the responders. Just look to see if they are "guests" meaning they left the forum, or "banned" meaning they were removed.

They are not here to defend themselves. They are not here to refute or discuss.

If you like the topic in the old thread, then start a fresh, new one, instead of bringing up ancient threads, ok??

Maybe they responded quickly because of the title and didn't notice the date until later.:)

I really like it when people resurrect old threads.

I like to see how peoples opinions may have changed, or not changed, over time.

Maybe the posts and people seemed more interesting back then?

Maybe there should be an "archived" forum where all the dead threads get moved too after a period of time? Then people can debate with the non existent members as much as they like lol

Earlier I was reading and someone mentioned that there was an existing thread on their topic not to duplicate......

I think if there is a thread from 3 or 6 months ago, then we might want to bring it back to life.

But 4 or 5 years old?? Like I said, most of the people who responded are probably gone. Even the ones that are members, I usually don't remember them because they haven't posted in years.

I confess I did not look to see who bumped up those threads. I guess I don't like it when most of the page is taken up with old threads and conversations that to all intents and purposes died a peaceful death! LOL

Twelve? Twelve? That's a biblical number. One zombie thread for each of the twelve tribes of Israel. ;)

Sometimes that is so. There are times we want to start something new too, but someone else mentioned something just like what weve been thinking-- and said it better too-- so i think its alright if its 3 mos or 3 yrs old, as long as the topic is relevant to the one resurrecting it, and hopefully the others too.
