One of the common threads when speaking with those who face violence and discrimination for their beliefs is the request for prayer. Countless volunteers set aside daily time to pray for the persecuted, whether individually, as a church, or as a family according to requests originating across the globe. Many volunteers have even organized prayer groups of their friends and family to meet regularly to pray specifically for those suffering for their faith. The dedicated prayers offered by volunteers are certainly making a difference for the global persecuted Church.

Please always pray for persecuted brothers and sisters all over the world.

Good post! We pray so much for our own wants and needs, and people we know, but I know I fail at times to remember the persecuted church.

Here are some good links to help you find out what is really happening out there in the world.

1st Peter.
It says more than I could ever in regards to the suffering Church.
Yes, let us pray wherever we are,
AND let us help find ways to help.

when we observe what our world is coming to, it evokes so many emotions in our Spirits -
we cry out to our Father with grieving hearts for all of our brothers and sisters hear and
abroad who are in distress and so many, for the first time in their lives are finding themselves
destitute and afraid with no where and no one human to turn to -
they have lost their families and homes and are without the ways and means to survive.

our hearts break and our prayers beseech our Father to give comfort and peace in their
trials and tribulations, for they are experiencing their moment of reconing and are being
required to put their whole Faith and Trust in their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ -

our world is groaning and it is surely telling us that soon we also will be put to the Test of our lifetime -

LUKE 1:17.
And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,
and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

I had someone praying for me , im a "Christian" i've been baptized yet my life is STILL ruined .

I use to believe in God in a way that was believed to be so extreme that all my friends and family said that I was wasting my life by not spreading diseases and chaos by just having fun and doing whatever felt good.

My life still sucks. ..don't forget that I have someone praying for me! ....why then did god ruin my life while all these admitted sinners go to heaven after living the lives they have.why?

Im asking this literally I don't need scripture rehashed I know how to read.

You guys seem pretty smart so why did he ruin my life then leave me here?

I believe its called rearranging......tearing down the old to build the new....leaving you here?''''....its not over yet..
we are all works in process......you are where you are for a season.....not a life time.....none of us know what tommarrow brings...
we must cease the moment.....find the joy.....and accept the change with grace....till we figure out what God wants for us......
by worrying what others are doing ...or getting away with.....just blocks our blessings.....be happy for others....your time is coming...
prepare yourself....find what God is teaching you.....and move on....everything has its purpose .... God knows what He is doing....
and that someone who should be praying for you......is you...pray for patience and self control......God will reveal this revelation for you
soon.......find peace....jo

There is nothing strange happening to you. Or anything that someone else hasn't already went through.........and probably worse.

LIFE.........It is 10% of what we make it and 90% of how we take it.

From my human perspective, I could honestly make a case that my life sucks.......gone through a lot of garbage and have problems everyday.

From my divine perspective, I could honestly say my life is great.......made it through a lot of garbage and have armor to solve problems from a divine perspective. I glorify the Lord in these times of testing(Sometimes!) and am blessed in doing so.

Your story doesn't reflect any salvation in Christ in your life. Having someone praying for you or baptizing you does not make you saved. It is your personal relationship with Him.

Repent and believe the Gospel! Ask to Jesus, by yourself, for His salvation.

Practically speaking everything is relative, sure my current circumstances could be better than someone else.

Im just asking why some Christian must endure something in the name of religious belief?

When left to their own devices they would be another life.

These supposed 'chosen' ones .

These questions have been asked by faithful men forever. Just talking to a friend last night about the things we had to go through just last year and today we both are blessed ever so much. His son died and my son attempted suicide. It was hell for months for both of us.
God takes all of us through the fire and through the flood. It's not always going to be the 'pit' my friend. Surround yourself with prayer warriors. We are to uphold each other in these times of trial.
God bless you Petester. We got your back!
