1 Tim 4:1-4
4 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

It appears that Paul is calling teachings that put believers under Law, and other cultic teachings doctrines of devils, seducing spirits, and departure from the faith. this would include the RCC who forbid clergy to marry)
Those are Paul's words not mine. If you read it differently; show me from the Greek where I am misreading it.

This passage is about the apostasy happening in the church that is leading people away from the true gospel message to false doctrines of demons.
This apostasy will draw many away from the faith to following after lies, and the epistle of Galatians and Acts 20:28-31 are good examples of this. Showing those who once walked in the gospel of Christ but are not walking in apostasy/false gospel;
Acts 20:28-31
28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
29 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.
31 Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.

Hi. Thanks for dropping some insights to the post. I was actually trying to address the verse as several signs indicating that the end times are approaching, especially as mentioned in verse 1, which even has infiltrated the so-called churches from all denominations.
