hi brothers

you ,Christians, say that John was sent by God only to prepare coming of The Messiha. in quality of Muslim, I agree with.

But at any time John had sait it was Jesus. it's well known Jesus and John baptiser are relatives, belonging to the same family. and they are the same age , and they were living in the same area.

John; if he has been sent for preparing the path of the Messiah, has missed a great time to present Jesus for all the world when Jesus let him self to be baptised by the baptiser.

But John did prepare the way and tell people about Jesus. He said "there is One coming that is greater than me". What are you saying?

John Testifies About Jesus, Gospel of John chapter one, verses 29-34

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.”

Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ I have seen and
I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.”

Same verses, King James Version:

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

What is your point of posting here friend? Will you too become a disciple of the one true God and follow his only begotten Son Jesus? You do know that your so called prophet worshipped the moon god SIN and change his mane to Allah right? And that history teaches that Allah is none other than Bel, Marduke, Zeus, Apollo etc. by a different name right? And ultimately is Satan attempting to mimic and over throw the one true God....the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob right?

John the Baptist made it clear many times that he was preparing the way for one greater than himself; "After me comes the one more powerful than I, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie" (Mark 1:7)

What's your deal with saying this?
I mean come on..you will get banned sooner or later if you keep it up. Js..
I believe he was just requesting not to be blocked and not to banned for asking a simple question. He's from Algeria, a Muslim country, and English is likely his second language. I think its encouraging that he's interested and is seeking answers about Christianity. Should we really be threatening him with; "you will get banned sooner or later"? Just sayin.

John who wrote after the previous book had in mind to correct the synoptics

he did a big mistake when he make on the mouth of John " i myself did not know him" Jesus and John are relatives

and he denied completly the baptem of Jesus bexause if Jesus let himself be baptised by John this mean Jesus was not the Messiah but one follower of John

Oh I wasn't trying to threaten him.
I just meant from they way he talks to people on other threads it is most likely going to.
And all honestly, it looks more like he wants to convince others to not believe. This is just my opinion from what I've seen him say in other posts.

He meant He did not know Who it was ahead of time. He only knew Who the promised One was when the sign God had promised was fulfilled upon Jesus Christ during His baptism.

No, it means Jesus did what the Father directed Him to do, just as He said He did many times. Also, by baptizing Him, John was declaring to all that here was the One they had been waiting centuries for, the Son of God, the One he had predicted would baptize “with the Holy Spirit and fire” Matt 3:11

No problem.... I was unaware of his previous postings, so you may be right about his intentions.
Hopefully, I'm wrong. I don't like thinking people come to start drama. But it does look to be so just from his first thread and well some of his comments.
But I really wasn't trying to threaten him.. :/
I really could have worded that better.

Many scholars are not believers, and do not have understanding.

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

But show me verses relatuves to baptem of Jesus in The John's book
