Is it possible for anyone who wants to join in the thread can make one post only on what they think God called them to do and leave it?
And if you dont agree with someone dont bother telling us what is wrong. Just use you post to tell us what God called you to do. Can we have a thread with nothing but our love for Christ in it.
Take as much as you need to say what you like then dont post again. Same goes for me.

I believe that I am called to die to self.
Put God first
Put my neighbour before me, which is easy as I am dead.
If someone hurts me its only because I never done what God called me to do. Die to self.
Its easy to stop getting hurt Just die to self.
God never called me to voice my opinions over yours.
I am called to preach the good news not bad news.
I am to lay hands on the sick and get them up.
I am to set the captives free.

What has God called me to do.. well.. right at this very moment.. fellowship with you.. I'm not very sure what the next moments call will be..
Could be listening
Could be waiting
Could be kindness
Could be nothing at all
The possibilities are endless in Him..

Allow myself to be a vessel for Christ to use. I've discovered it is always for others.

I agree with everything that you said. I would simply add that the good news is ultimately bad news to those who reject it:

2 Corinthians chapter 2 verses 14 thru 17

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

I agree with all of this post, and most of the others, but in a more general sense. Specifically, I still don't know what, or even IF, God has called me to do, and that troubles me much, as I feel like time is running out, and without specifics, it's like spinning wheels in a rut. I thought CChat would be a new venture of open doors....it's turned out adding to the frustration , but I'm hanging in and fighting thru it by God's grace. I keep thinking there's a partner in Christ out there that will make all the difference and catapult us both into new ways of serving, loving, and experiencing God our Savior.Til then I'll try to do the above and more. Hoping but clinging. Jesus loves YOU, that much I know.

[h=2]What did God call me to do here on earth? [/h]Tell His truth.
Fervent, prayer and study are of necessity, otherwise one has no clue or confirmation as to what spirit is suggesting things.

God has called me to this: to believe in the One He has sent.

Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."

God has called me to lean not on my own understanding, but in all my ways, follow Him.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

God has called me to love God above all, and my neightbour as myself.

“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

God has called me to share my love. He has assured me that I need not struggle, nor suffer, nor compete for love.
We love because he first loved us.

That's really beautiful, and not surprising considering the source, you're such a blessing here, if I may speak for myself and so many others here I'm sure. I especially like what you said God assured you of...did we all get that? May Jesus Keep on lifting you up and holding you close! Just when I'm thinkin of throwin in the towel, the cute kid with the great hair comes thru!:) Thank you, Jesus, for this and more I'm about to pray today.

A few days ago I was talking with God and shared with Him the frustration in my heart about a certain situation. I said, "I know what's the righteous thing to do, Father but I keep being bombarded by my grudging spirit and weak flesh. And when I try to ignore my bad attitude and do the right thing in spite of it, I feel self-righteous, like I accomplished something in my own self-control."

And then God (Holy Spirit) says (revealed) to me tenderly, "Look at Me." So I closed my eyes and looked at God the Father in my spirit. Then He says so sweetly, "Do it for Me." When He spoke to my spirit like that, so soft and tender, I wanted to do the right thing for Him!

Then as I sat there pondering Him, realizing He wants me to do all for Him, to please Him... His Holy Spirit shone in my heart and I saw something else in me. And then I blurted out to God, "Wait, Father... if Your purpose for me is just to please You in everything I do, what would be my motivation? Where's the reward? What's in it for me right now?"

And He answered, "Me!" He said it so softly in my heart that it blew me away! God was showing me that it wasn't a slave and master type relationship. It was an absolute intimate relationship of God loving me, and me loving Him back. That He did all for me and I can do all for Him. And with the mind of Christ, I can do it.

God called me to receive His love and to love Him in return. That's all. Whatever else He purposes to do is none of my business. He will do whatever He wants through me. I'm His and He is mine. ♥

To believe in Jesus Christ so that i may have life and have it more abundantly.

John 4:14
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

John 6:29
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

John 7:38

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Titus 3:4-7
4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

And yet your recent post (rant as you said) on another thread was so helpful to me. Though I can relate to how you're feeling at the moment (BELIEVE me, I can relate) Please allow Jesus and His love for you lift you out of that 'useles' thinking, as it's just not true. Jesus loves you, and for what it's worth, so do I...and magenta and Lynn and dcontrovers and violet and .................:)
