I don't think too much of T.D. Jakes, but aren't you doing exactly the same thing you are accusing him of doing?....... trying to get us to believe something because you say it exists.
Could you copy/paste (from the Bible) that "same phrase" he uses, and include the version you found it in? Because I cannot find it.

when one is trying to discern between the 'true & false' ministers, some litmus test scriptures are,
11COR.2:17.
For we are not, as so many, peddling the Word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God,
we speak in the sight of God in Christ.
ISA.56:11.
Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand:
they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
1TIM.6:4-5.
He is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come
envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicion, useless wrangling of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth,
who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.
so, these scriptures can sweep many of the TV evangelists out of your life.......
it is very obvious when they are continually selling their wares what is important to them -
the scripture is very plain, as it tells us to not partake of the wickedness of false teachers
and those that serve mammon and not God.
