a poem by JoelG:

Lord, I am trying to make sense of it all.
I'm just about ready to crawl,
Don't want to be here for the fall.
And, I don't know who I can call.

Lord, what has happen to all of your people?
They don't come and don't fill up your steeples.
They don't seem to care.
And, it happening everywhere.

Do they not understand what you have said,
that their soul will be judged, as soon as they're dead.
By the one who is just, who died for our sins,
Who was sent to this earth and was not welcomed in.

Oh Lord, give me the strength to warm my brothers,
Who have left you for the love of another,
The wicked one who has them mesmerized,
who's leading them to a false paradise,
And, they don't even realize,
He's got control of their lives.

Help me Oh Lord, your power is great,
Shine the light on the road I must take.
I need your guidance, for you know I am weak.
It's you love, that I yearn and I seek.

I heard you knock, and I open the door.
Now, I don't fear the beast anymore.
With you by my side, now I feel safe.
I love you and am yours to save.

Lord, please help me to understand these things more.
Now, help me to show others how to open that door.
The one that you are knocking on and yearn to come in.
The one if we open will drive us from sin.

I heard you knocking, I open the door.
Now, I don't fear the beast anymore.
With you by my side, I feel so safe inside.
You drove me away from my sins,
And forgave me for all my sins.

Let Jesus in.
He's waiting for you.
Open the Door.
Open the Door.
