You know, the bible states clearly that those things which are seen (with the eyes) are temporal and the things not seen (spiritual) are eternal....

God's kingdom is SPIRITUAL and God is SPIRIT and LIGHT (two be verbs applied) which show state of being..

God is the lofty one who inhabits eternity (being light and dwelling in light) is a position where time stops=a permanent state of eternity...

The glorified body is describe as celestial (above the sky or heavens), ethereal, super natural, non-physical as opposed to the (terrestrial) as in earthy, physical, worldly..

One is sown as natural (physical, fleshly) and the glorified body is raised as spiritual (celestial, ethereal, super natural and non physical and is full of glory).

As I sat and watched my sat. television and twittered on sat. internet (as I live in the woods, off the grid and generate my own power and my T.V. and internet are sat.) the rain coming through blocked my signal and I lost internet and T.V. I started pondering the physical aspect of rain and how it was able to block or scatter my Satellite feeds. It made me ponder the above scriptural truths and the fact that this seemingly old world is physical from the rain drops to the satellite feed to humanity and everything worldly. I also had a deep thought about time and how there was a first day and a last day and God has numbered the very days, months and years (time allowed) to each and every human being that will come into existence (Job 14). Time is in essence a brief moment in eternity where God slowed down, and shed his glory and went from dwelling in pure light and a state of eternity to being robed in flesh, experiencing time and sharing in the grand finale which is death (of the physical)!

In Revelation it states clearly that time shall be no more at the sounding of the 7th trump...the physical will decay, rust, corrupt, slow and die.....time is running out and the celestial is coming....Will you be raised celestial or will you be cast aside with all who go the way of Cain?

This is one of those places where "external" things started to lead me to Christ. The book The Little Prince had a profound effect on me.

Does anyone remember the prime saying of that book?

“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

I added it to the post.

Christ knows His sheep and they hear His voice and follow Him. The Kenites do not and they also being the tares, they shall be gathered up and burned, while the wheat (the sheep) are gathered into His barn.

Great book! It was my first book I read in the original French. Then in English, and back to French, which only seemed right!

I've always thought of eternity as the eternal now. To answer the question, i will be a celestial being. :)

What about the 'way of Cain?' i.e. the Kenites.
Jud_1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

I would affirm the gist of the OP... Well said, DCon. Clearly the world in which we live has an expiry date, as do we in it. It is so important that each person takes the opportunity to know Christ as Saviour; He is the only Way out of here! :)

It isn't my intention to derail, but I do have a couple questions:

Which verse(s) state clearly that "time will be no more at the sounding of the seventh trump"? Some things come to an end, but time being one of them doesn't register with me, or my concordance.
Rev. 21 and 22 describe a city, a river, trees and fruit being produced every month. Does this not sound physical, and with a sense of time?

We will also be building and planting. Crops take time to mature.

Revelation 10:6-7 verse 6 records the statement about time being no more and is connected to verse 7 by a colon which records a statement about the sounding of the 7th trump...and it is directed at time...there is a first day and a LAST DAY
