What are your thoughts on vasectomies if a person is still fertile?

The day my husband is old enough he's going in for the *snip-snip* If God wants us to have children, we will. If some day we decide it was a bad idea or I my biological clock gets a new battery and starts working, it's reversible. I don't see it being any worse than any other form of contraceptive.

What you do is he donates to a bank, the kind you know what I'm talking about, gets the snip, and he can remain snipped for life. Anytime you want a child, just get one out of the freezer. What science can do is amazing.

Excellent idea. Although with the amount of mountain dew he drinks plus his smoking, I doubt he'd be able to father children anyway...I just dont' want to find out.

After four children, I had a v-section. My wife was happy about it.

My husband had one done after we had 2 kids. He was sore for a week. Anyone looking to get it done, make sure you get the doctor who has done it more than any other... I don't believe there is anything biblically wrong with having it done.
G-d says we should never take on more in life than we can bear....this includes the subject of children.

I just have to share this.
Because of medical reasons, after my last child was born my hubby had a vas. so as not to risk another pregnancy due to many medical issues with my getting pregnant.
He had the surg. normal recovery. He went back to work.
His job was very physical, and about a week later he had to jump a fence, chain link, it did not go well.
He snagged himself, needless to say he was in alot of pain and had to take several weeks off work.
It was about a week after he went back to work that my medical issues became serious, I had to have a hystorectomy right away.
We can laugh about all his effort for nothing now, but at the time he could only look very disbelieving and confused over it all.
All I can say is if God wants one to stop having children he sure has a funny way of doing it.
Smiles and God bless, pickles

yes, its ok to cringe
