...which would be?

Today I was asked this question. To be honest, I never thought about it. Although it´s difficult, here are my choices:

- Sermon on the mountain
- Forgiveness of the adulterous woman
- Resurrection of Lazarus

What about yours, dear brothers and sisters?

God bless you!

I would choose to be with the shepherds in the field on the night of Jesus birth, see and hear the angels sing and then go with the shepherds to the manger

Second, I would want to be at the crucifixion...with those who loved Him...and remember why He died

Third, I would want to be at the resurrection...with Mary

Wonderful choices, sister. I believe you´re entirely right, mostly in the crucifixion part, as being with Him, there, as to see the reason why He came to the World. Thank you for showing me the importance of that moment, sister.

May the Lord bless you!

I don't think I could bear to witness His death on the cross...
1. His resurrection
2. The raising of Lazarus.
3. The transfiguration.

Difficult to choose, so many amazing choices.

As a father, 2 of my choices will be related to children:

1. Raising Jairus' daughter from the dead.
2. Raising the widow's son from the dead at Nain.
3. Driving the demons out of the demoniac and into the pigs.

Of course, I'd have loved to have been there for everything.

I really really like the benefits of indoor plumbing, electricity, and getting my food from the supermarket. I wouldn't do well in the first century. They didn't even have air-conditioning and the lived in a hot and dry land.

So, I'm good with the time I will see Jesus, when he sits at the right hand of his Father on the throne. I don't use this word often because it's overused, but it's the only one that fits my feeling. That's going to be awesome!!!

awww...thanks so much! I don't imagine I could ever be the same to see Jesus on the cross...hoping I would think even harder before I act or speak

there is a song I really like by Paul Oakley/Kevin Jamieson "I Will Never be the Same"...regarding this...goes

I will never be the same, Now that I have seen the cross

one line that really sticks out to me is : So dark was the hour When all heaven turned its face away, Turned its face away from you

Anyway, the words are very meaningful (helps that the music is pretty good too..)

thanks!

The transfiguration
The exact moment of his resurrection

I like this post.

Of course

1. His death and resurrection
2. When He prophesied about His life would be during the Wedding at Cana
3. When He came to Thomas.

The sermon on the Mount . . .
The ascension . . .

Mostly I would have just like to have had one whole day with him . . . and with his apostles . . . I would like to know how they communicated and carried on when they weren't preaching the gospel . . . the "in between the lines stuff". You know, like did they joke and kid around or were they always serious . . .

Hehe, I have to agree on the "Driving the money changers out of the temple with a whip" :D

+ healing the woman with the bleedings

I imagine they walked about a lot in beautiful places. I would love to just tag along, even if nothing special was going on

Goodie, I get two more wishes, hehe.
I'd like to see the feeding of the 5000, I'd have my eyes peeled to see just how one fish became two or just how the barley loaves were multiplying ...Yes, I'd put it on YouTube :p

Mark 4:37-39 (KJV)
37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Jesus sleeping in the boat, huge storm is stirred up, fills the boat with water, disciples are in full panic mode, terrified, wake up Jesus, who commands the wind and waves (aka storm) by saying "PEACE, BE STILL!" ...AWE-SOME.

Of course, braking my initials "rule", if I could add two more, I´d add:

- His birth;
- His Resurrection.

So, feel free to add two more, if you wish, dear brethren. Still, very hard to choose. :)

I really love Him!!!! :) Praise the Lord!

God bless you, dear brothers and sisters!
