hell is a real place. It is a place designated for people who have been sanctified by the serpent.

Characteristics of citizens of hell:

Lonely - ever heard the phrase "it's lonely at the top?" It is also lonely at the bottom. People will be so narcissistic that they will be unable to see each other. Other souls will be objects to all those around them.

Terrified - humans were created to be in union with God and each other - in hell, community is impossible.

Consumeristic - souls will be looking to satisfy their burning desire to covet, which with never be satisfied.

Materialistic - souls will only be able to perceive the material - there will be no perception of God - the only things they will see is the physical aspects of the plane of existence and those around them.

Individual - souls are truly alone.

Motto - I am the only person good enough to run this place. I have been cheated and tricked!

Narcissistic to the core
- Pride will be unbridled.

Hell was not made for people at all. Hell was made for satan and his demons.. God wants no man to perish in hell. It is so sad that many people are chosing to go to hell. Sometimes I wonder just how many people will actually get to go to heaven. Only 8 from the days of Noah. How many went to the land of milk and honey? Next to almost none. What if all of that is a very big warning to us. So many people saying they are Christians. And you can find a whole lot of unbelievers that are way more nice than the ones saying they are Christians. God have mercy!

That is a good point you make. We read in Revelation 7 that 144,000 of the Tribe of Isreal will be saved and it goes on to say in verse 9 After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and peope, and tongues, stood before the throne, and befoe the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands.

So we do know that there will be more than 8 people saved, but that is true I believe the Old Testament was given for an example. And the Bible says the the Way to Heaven is narrow and few find it. Few people realize that when you become a Christian, you die to self and become a new creature in Christ.

Few people realize that being a Christian is more than just saying, ugh, yeah there is a God up there...but I'm still going to do all the things I've always done and not really have a relationship with Him. Unfortunately that's the way my parents are. They say God is Father on their lips, but they don't hold Him in their hearts, and they don't treat others, or each other very well, and it makes me sad. I can't say if they are saved or not, but sometimes I look at them and wonder if they are going to be two of the ones who God said, not all who call me father are coming to heaven.

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well; the devils also believe, and tremble. James 2:19

I meant to put tribes not tribe in the above link.

You know,

Christ's work on the cross and the Spirit's work in the heart of everyone who acknowledges Christ as Lord is so incredible and makes such an impact on the world; I believe that Heaven is going to be filled with more people than we can imagine.

Revelation14:11
11And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name."

I thought Adventists, like JW's believed in annihilation, not eternal hell

Our Lord God said there is a hell.
I believe this.
I would not want to argue it with him as Im sure he will win the debate!

God bless, pickles

Jesus said in Matthew 7 that the highway to hell is broad and it's gate is wide for the many who choose the easy way, but the gateway to life is small and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it.

When our Lord and Savior describes the roads to the afterlife in such a succinct way I have to rely on His perfect judgment and make sure that I work out my salvation daily with prayer and praise of our Almighty God.

Jesus also said that many will come to Him on judgment day saying 'Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name, and performed many miracles in your name,' and He will say, 'I never knew you, go away; the things you did were unauthorized.' also in Matthew 7

hello,

The Bible says that the people who rejected the truth their worm never dies which means they will feel the effects of the flesh for all eternity.Even though their flesh rots off their bones in the natural they will keep their natural body in the afterlife and will feel the fire as the flesh feels the fire.

They will be in total darkness with no light and there are different phases of punishment.Jesus said those that have never heard but do wrong will be beaten with few stripes but those that have heard the truth and rejected it will be beat with a little more stripes but those that have heard the truth and stopped doing the truth will be beaten with the most stripes.

My advice is to stay with Jesus and make sure you know the truth and never turn away from the truth.

Jesus said not everyone that calls Him Lord will go to heaven so make sure you are in the truth.
