This comes into my mind during my weakest moments:

"What happens when science without doubt be able to prove that we came from one cell organism and evolved into human beings? That the story of creation in Genesis was just a pigment of imagination of someone?
"

I am not lost. Please spare me of strength-giving verses or good words of advice. I am fine. Thank you for your concern. I am more interested to know if there are people like me, during moments of weakness, question one of the very foundations our faith. And if so, what is yours?

I think this is Christ's weakest moment.

Matthew 26:39(NKJV)
39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

That looks like a strong moment to me... laying down His will and His life, knowing what was in front of Him.

For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Everyone experiences doubts at times and even horrible thoughts. Just don't dwell on those fiery darts sent from Satan. Jesus said, "Take no thought saying." Don't voice them or dwell on them and they have no power.

in my weakest moments I think "why hast thou forsaken me?"
but then I remember He promised this would Never Happen, so then I must ask myself: do I believe his word or no? and if so then any doubt is not from my own mind or heart but rather its the enemy being allowed attempt to foist these thoughts and feelings onto me, so I must ask myself why would the enemy be allowed to do such a thing? its been my experience that every time I overcome this with truth I get stronger until no matter what is said or felt I know what I know and nothing will cause me to lose my peace.... Isa. 26:3 and Prov. 3:5-6

I know Jesus said His soul is exceedingly sorrowful and during His prayers He asked the Father to have the cup pass from Him. I would not take that as His strong moment. And technically, His laying down of His will and life came after the prayers.

Yeah, "why hast thou forsaken me?". I can relate. This comes when everything seems going wrong.

In my weakest and darkest moments, 2 verses come to me.. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13) and "Though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil." Psalm 23 :)

If I don't voice them, how do I get good advice like this?

Yeah, I love them too. Do your moments sometimes challenge the foundation of your faith?

Yes, definitely.. Read the threads in my signature and you'll see how rattled my foundation gets during hard times, and how I (and God) manage to keep it from crumbling.. :)

Is what I underlined and made bold not part of what you would count as His prayer? That looks to me to be where He laid down His will and His life, although admittedly, His life was not forfeited for a little while after He prayed. That is just my opinion :)

One massive difference between our weakest moments and his -- He never ever sinned.

Mind boggling, isn't it?

My weakest moments? "God can't possibly help me do this. I'm not strong enough." (Which is the error because I keep thinking my strength is involved some how.)

We can't relate that much. Jesus, the Father and the Spirit are eternal -- always, always communing together, praising each other, doing in perfect harmony, perfect everything, eternally. Jesus was never without the Father or the Spirit, and yet, God cannot look on sin. When Jesus put the sin of all of us onto his shoulders, the eternal love feast stopped. For the first and only time, literally ever -- which is a massive feat since they're eternal -- fellowship was broken. Jesus was utterly alone. He knew why. It broke his heart to be away for so long -- all those hours.

His strength is perfected in my weakness. I am weakest when I think I am strong. Pride goes before the fall. I am prideful when I take my eyes off Jesus and look at myself. When I acknowledge my need for Christ and the Holy Spirit I am stronger than the enemy.

Psalms 119:9 BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

I pray that when I am weak I will seek to meditate on Gods word and not lean to my own understanding.

Pr 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

For the cause of Christ

I don't mean in this way. I'll give you an example. Suppose the thought comes that you have done something and God has forsaken you. You take the thought when you start voicing, asking God why he has forsaken you, and when you start telling people that God has forsaken you.

What I'm saying is to just rebuke a thought like that and replace it with the truth. Start saying that God said he would never leave you or forsake you. The same applies to many situations. I might experience a pain and Satan puts the thought in my mind that I might have cancer. I don't go around saying I might have cancer. I replace that thought with his words that proclaim my healing like 1 Peter 2:24 instead.
